Lovely accommodation where we had a nicely equipped apartment with a kitchen and a terrace allowing for evening sitting with a wonderful view of the mountain peaks. Breakfasts were excellent , with a choice of cold meats , eggs, fruit or fruit flakes , etc. On request we were also given fresh milk from the local farm . The very kind hostess Mrs Sandra always exchanged a few words with us in the morning and wished us a lovely day .

The property is located in a secluded part of Tauplitz a few minutes uphill from the main road. The property itself is very nice, tidy and upkept. The hosts are very communicative and nice, which is very important. They also operate a farm and you can buy their super tasty honey, which they make on the premises. The deer grazing on a nearby meadow are a nice bonus! :)

First of all, I must state clearly that the stay was really enjoyable, the whole experience was great, especially for the money. When staying at the Wagnerhof you should be aware of several things: You are on a farm. You are staying with the family in the same house, they only have a few rooms for the guests, the rest is for the family who have many animals. So you can see the ducks walking around the house, hear and smell the cows in the barn, etc. We expected this and it was nice. If someone is sensitive to these things, it's not for them. There is a huge difference if you have a (front) room with a balcony or a (back) room without. We specifically asked for at least one room with a balcony and it was really great. The balcony has a sofa to sit on and the view is nice. Even the room with the sofa is bigger. The rooms at the back are nice but smaller. I was a bit worried about the comments about the need to be quiet. The property is definitely not suitable for parties, large groups of friends who want to sit and drink until late at night. Even staying with a small crying child can be a bit tricky, but on the other hand I didn't find it limiting. We are pretty quiet by default :-) The breakfast (served as a buffet) was nice, with local products. I'm used to much richer breakfasts in Austria, but for the price it's ok.

Location is perfect for families. Very quite place, remote from the rush of the city, but in very near distance to anywhere, if you have a car. It is safe for children to play outside. It have lovely view to the valley and on the mountains and in the noon you can see cows walking almost under your window.
The apartment was clean and cozy, large sitting area in the kitchen and beds were very comfortable.

Stay at this place was beyond perfect. I don´t understand why this accommodation has "only" 9-something rating. It does definitely deserves pure 10 out of 10. Hosts are very quick and kind in terms of communication. Speaking of this place, it is a nice farm perfect for those fond of animals and nature. Room was spacious and clean. To our surprise, we were also offered a crib for our baby. Very pleasant. Highly recommended!

The location of the working farm is great, as it's basically 'downtown' of Bad Mitterndorf and within walking distance to restaurants, shops, bus stop, etc. You can even buy a liter of fresh milk for just a euro, so that was pretty cool. The apartment itself is really nice and spacious. The master bedroom is nicely done with a large bed, plenty of storage space, and really cozy. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything one could possibly need. They really thought about everything.
We liked the rustic atmosphere and the decorations in the hotel. The beds were comfortable. The shower pressure was good. The dinner in the restaurant was tasty. There was a barn full of cows next to the hotel and the children enjoyed looking at them.
Perfect place, good price and nice appartments, located almost in the centre of vilage. Very nice vilage with small nice old town. Per 3 days in the vilage we had October fest stile festival, market, and free concert - a lot of nice good organised events.
Back to appartment - owners are very friendly farmers. They are selling fresh milk and home made traditional schanpps.
We enjoyed staying at the Bunzbauernhof, which is really a family friendly place and also great location for exploring the lakes, mountains and other Austrian highlights. We could park our bikes under the roof and there is a kitchen available for cooking lunch or dinner. The room was cosy and comfortable and very calm (almost no traffic). The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

The best is its owner, Helmut - always very helpful and open for any questions. Each day he took care about us. He asked about our plans, he advised if necessary. You felt there as a real guest. We have chosen the option with the breakfasts - strongly recommend. Helmut is also a farmer. He prepares meals using the organic food, always fresh and high quality's. The room was very clean, the bed was comfy. There are two cats ❤️
