I rarely write a review, but this accomodation deserves not one, but ten great comments.
From the moment my partner and I arrived, we felt and been treated just like at home.
The owner, Silke (hope I wrote it right), is a lovely person, with who you can talk about everything and she really makes you feel more than welcome.
The rooms are big and really comfy, the best part is definetly the view!
When we visit Dachstain area again, we won't be searching for any other accomodation - I am sure, no place can beat this one.
A traditional farmhouse with many animals, the Saumerhof is 700 metres from the centre of Mandling and 2 km from the Reiteralm Cable Car in the Dachstein-Tauern Ski Area.

A wonderful holiday in a beautiful traditional alpine environment. Kati created such a wonderful homely atmosphere that it was hard for us to go back home. Everything was underlined by the peaceful surroundings with a view of the mountains, simply a fairy tale. Thanks for everything.

Very friendly and helpful owner. Breakfast was fabulous and delicious, with a variety of food options. The location is perfect for people, who want to go skiing in the winter season. The house was nice and cozy, and it has a really nice surrounding farm.

Location was good. Everything was close - mountains, restaurants, shops, nature trails, etc. Different barns are near-by and it is possible to see different animals (children love it). As it is located near to barns, there is a manure stench (outside) but it did not affect air in the apartment. In the apartment the air was always fresh.
Beautiful big apartment, with new and modern equipment, where you will find all you need. Maria and her husband are super friendly, you can buy eggs and milk from their farm. Everything was just perfect - huge parking area, excellent gaming room with billiards, football, darts, lot of toys for children. mountains and animals around you. 100% recommendation. The house and surrounding farm is very pretty and pittoreske, with lots of animals and fun things to see and do. The room we stayed in was comfortable and clean, everything we could wish for was there.
Very good location, not far from the lift. The owner of the house was very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and in line with the expectations. We enjoyed the overall atmosphere of the farm environment.
