The Oceanfront Inn is located in Shelter Cove, California, right in the middle of the famous Lost Coast. The area is pristine, beautiful, and remote.

Common areas on the property offer a BBQ grill, deck box full of grilling and picnic supplies, gas fireplace on the patio, outdoor games on the south lawn, and ample seating on the oceanside lawn. We have a small gift shop and snacks available in the office, along with maps and brochures of local activities. The staff is super friendly and wishes to help our guests have a wonderful stay. When you leave 101 and drive to Shelter Cove you already could imagine what is coming. Serpentine road going through the mountains and then at some point you can see this amazing hotel standing just on the sea rocks. A coupe of local restaurants, walking distance including a local bar. I would certainly come back one day.

The cottage itself is extremely cozy and comfortable with all needed amenities. What made the stay even better was the kindness of the host Samantha. She was very responsive and kind, and even gave a tour of the property to beautiful waterfall. Overall a wonderful experience and I hope to return!

Styled with period pieces and floral linens, guest rooms at Ye Olde Danish Inn include a private balcony, a wood-burning stove, a seating area, a microwave, refrigerator and a cable TV. Wonderfull retro stay on a quiet farm with very friendly owners. We enjoyed the decor and ambiance which fitted the nice town of Ferndale.

The campground offers an outdoor swimming pool, hot tub and a minimarket. Accommodation for disabled guests is also available at the property. Nice little cabins on the RV resort just outside Eureka. Clean amenities and very family friendly. We only stayed for a night but would come back if we stop in Eureka again.

Very comfortable and has a beautiful hiking trail between the redwoods that goes to the coast.

The rest of our rooms are in the historic part of the building, and most of them do not have television. All Founder's Suites and all Terrace rooms have TV. This is a beautiful historic hotel with stunning grounds. We had a view of the gardens and bridge behind the hotel. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. Our server was friendly and made our experience a lot of fun. Staff was all friendly and welcoming. I wish we could have stayed longer. Great place to stay if you are exploring the Redwoods.
