Real quirky. Loved the historic nature of the place. Stayed in quite a few hotels over the last few weeks. All nice, but cold and a bit impersonal. Meziki had charm and loads of character. Family who ran the place couldn’t have been more attentive and welcoming. Even offered to make us a packed lunch as we were leaving early and missing out on breakfast.

We had a very pleasant 5-day holiday at No 16 Ada. Our host was extremely helpful, very pleasant and made us feel at home. The Turkish breakfast was outstanding. The accommodation is located in a quiet residential area. Büyükada is a great location for a brief autumn holiday, nice walks, good restaurants, interesting old houses in the main town, good and very affordable ferry connection to Istanbul, that run late into the evening.
A cosy, family-run, and well-appointed hotel situated in a quiet side-street which is only a stone's throw from the best restaurants on the island and the more interesting array of shops and boutiques. A hearty breakfast on the small terrace at the front of the Masal is a great way to start the day. All in all, the service levels are on a par with fine, boutique hotels but the price is much easier on the pocket.
stunning white taverna style hotel, with family feel. private pool area, stunning sea front deck chairs and restaurant. great local food. yummy breakfast! local and decadent. breakfast till 1pm by the sea - divine staff were fab. even went and bought suncream for us from the local town.
The breakfast was great: generous, delicious and in a wonderful setting on the beautiful terasse with sea view. The room was funished with taste.
This is my favourite spot in Istanbul - a real oasis in the big city - its a real mansion with friendly owners that are always helpful and fun to talk to. Really makes you feel at home, that's all I can say. Also, the hotel is very tastefully decorated, located in a quiet place but close to everything. I particularly love Thu market. The only reason I do not shout about this place - is because I love its peacefulness and family atmosphere.
