Amazing ambience, birds tweeting since early morning, tons of well-maintained greenery, beautiful canal going through the middle of the hotel. I never felt like the hotel was full of people because of how well designed it is. Even the private pools were not really visible from other guests perspective. Really stunning! Breakfast was varied and tasty, every single day. Food in general was exceptionally tasty. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They managed to accommodate us, make us feel welcome and help us out with every single problem we had. Beach was beautiful and the massage at the beach (although not officially part of the hotel) is highly recommended. Rooms are big and have high ceilings, are really nice to be in. WiFi worked really well all around hotel (maybe just didn't reach the beach... But is that a bad thing? ;) )

Would highly recommend atleast a few nights here when visiting Khao Lak just for the experience

Located in Khao Lak, 600 metres from Khuk Khak Beach, JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort Suites provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. The accommodation offers a private beach area and a range of water sports facilities, as well as a garden and a shared lounge. The hotel has a terrace and city views, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. Everything about JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort suites was top notch. Right from the accommodation (family of 4; availed a suite), the courteous staff, quality food and beverage outlets (Ta-Krai, Sakura, Olive, Sala and the Beach Bar restaurant), Quan spa, the 3 km long swimming pool, the facilities at the beach, various activities being arranged by the property were all very enjoyable during our week long stay. We will definitely return soon. Tip: Highly recommend the all meals plan with spa treatment package.

Such a peaceful and calming place surrounded by nature. You can tell it has been created with a lot of love. Staff was lovely as well and helped out with everything we needed. All the breakfast and dinner options we tried were really yummy and healthy. As mentioned by other reviewers, you might be visited by some adorable cats and dogs looking for cuddles :-) We thorougly enjoyed our time at Jaiyen Eco Resort and would love to come back some time! Note that Jaiyen is on the quieter side of the island, so your best way of getting around will be to rent a scooter which they have available (about 20 mins to get to the swimmable beaches).

Set within a 15-minute walk from Khukkhak Beach, The Retreat Khaolak Resort - SHA Extra Plus offers modern rooms with balcony and free WiFi. Guests can enjoy at an outdoor pool or arrange trips using motorbike or bicycle rental services at the front desk. 3 nights, and we had to move to other property, as they were booked. We desire to be back. Large rooms, clean, modern style bathroom, teapot, fridge, toiletries, daily service. Only 12 rooms, all which open to a pool and breakfast area. Breakfast was great and slight changes daily. Mr ‘Up’ and staff were always present and helpful - free bikes, motorbike rental, advice, organized taxi transport and even delivered us to our second location for free. Community of guest were more mature, quiet and pleasant to get to know

They gave you a great feeling right from the start upon arrival until departure. Bas even gave us a great transfer to our next Hotel in Khao Lak and showed us the temple nearby. The Hotel is also very nice. Nights are quiet, during the day you can chill at the pool. Everything is super clean. The rooms are comfortable and large. We would come here again!
