Polite, understanding, and helpful, but beyond that, they really know what they’re doing. Exequiel was very good at showing us how to do things we needed to do (get into the dinghy, best way to snorkel, where to snorkel). The trip was what we wanted to make of it. He took us to a few islands. When we asked to stay at one, it was an immediate, “sure, no problem!” Stelly was super friendly and an amazing chef. She said she’s not professionally trained, but I’m not sure I believe her. The food was delicious. Anyone that can get my wife to eat fish must be amazing at cooking. Most, if not all, of the seafood was caught right near our boat and sold to us by the local Guna, who are some of the friendliest people we’ve come across. The water is calm, the beaches are soft, the waves are gentle, the reefs are magnificent. Getting here is a chore, make sure you bring plenty of American cash, but man is worth it. Highly recommend. We are already planning our return. My wife reminded me to mention that the dog is the best-trained most well behaved dog on the planet. We will miss BigMac as well.

This beachfront property offers access to a balcony. Staff on-site can arrange airport transfers. Our sailing adventure in San Blas was truly exceptional. The sailing boat Guji was not only beautiful but also clean and surprisingly spacious. Sayra, our experienced skipper with a decade of living in San Blas, impressed us with her outstanding hospitality. She guided us through the most stunning corners of this paradise. Marta, a delightful chef, treated us to delicious dishes throughout the trip. The three days spent with them marked one of our most enjoyable travel experiences. We would love to come back!

Facing the seafront in El Porvenir, Play to Live San Blas features water sports facilities and barbecue facilities. A solarium is available for guests. The boat provides sea views and an outdoor fireplace. Daniella and Paul were wonderful hosts. They were both excellent sailors, knew the islands really well and took us to all the best snorkeling reefs. They were also both excellent cooks; Paul making delicious pancakes and French toast for breakfast and Daniella (from Italy!) making amazing homemade pizza and pasta - the later served with lobsters purchased from the Kuna (Guna) fishermen who came to our sailboat with live lobsters for sale in the bottom of their dug-out canoe. Paul and Daniella were also friends with many Kuna and knew all about their culture and society. We purchased beautiful "Mola" from an elderly Kuna woman who came on the boat with her family. They made sure that we had a perfect 4 days and we feel that we saw most of the islands. We were also blessed with perfect weather although I have heard it can rain in San Blas.

A terrace is available on site and both fishing and snorkelling can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge. lovely stay! it was a truly special experience to stay with the kuna people and learn about their history and culture. San Blas is extremely beautiful and it was included to go on daily trips. The hosts were very kind and the food was over expectations. As long as you are fine to live very simple, I recommend this to anyone :)

Vegetarian, dairy-free and vegan options can also be requested. I was really happy with my decision to stay on Isla Yani - it was indeed a paradise and it exceeded my expectations 1. The island is beautiful - better than the photos - pure paradise and I think 3 nights was not too long. 2. it's very clean - the room was clean and the toilets were clean (showers maybe not so much) - there was ALWAYS toilet paper and usually soap to wash your hands 3. The food was amazing - really good and a lot of food - fresh fish at least once a day 4. prices for drinks were reasonable 5. there's no trash on the beaches or in the water 6. The staff is pretty professional - not friendly or warm exactly but this is pretty typical for hotels in Panama. 7. The agency that arranges your transport and booking was pretty good at providing me with information about my stay compared to what other travelers I met experienced. I was one of the few people who actually knew what island I was going to. 8. Accommodations were basic but comfortable. The high price that you're paying is not for the accommodations, it's for the chance to experience paradise and it's truly paradise.
