Part of a larger house, Frankie & Hugh's is a renovated, self-contained apartment situated in Ohakune, just a 20-minute drive from the Turoa ski field on Mount Ruapehu. A beautiful mountain stream runs through the B&B gardens, and you can often hear the calls of native birds What a fantastic place to stay. From a warm fireplace to the comfortable well appointed bedrooms for the whole family. Our host was wonderful. Amazing organic breakfast supplies left kindly left in the fridge for us. Highly recommend

On the way to Waitomo, I would love to recommend this lovely place. Jan is such a friendly host and her daughter welcomed us, we were glad to meet them. Thank you for preparing our room as we requested, really appreciate it. The place is very lovely, like a dreaming-cozy room :) I loved the garden with roses as well. I would love to come back in the future. And I was so surprised of what they prepared for us. It was probably the best gifts we had during our whole trip. Thank you very much again!

A very lovely and cozy home-feel place, family friendly. Functional kitchen with great range of cooking supplies, lounge has comfortable couches and TV with Netflix, fireplace and heat pump. Nice hot shower, supplied good choices of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Has two heated towel racks. Good quality comfortable beds, all with electric blankets. Easy parking, short driving distance to town centre. Nice friendly host, great communication, turned on the heat pump before we arrived.
Lovely, clean and tidy unit, great for a young family (kids aged 3 & 6 - garden with playhouse, across the road from beach and fab playground, family friendly cafe around the corner, frequent bus service to town). Thanks 😀
The patience, professionalism and that extra mile as I had requested some chocolates for my son's 25th birthday 🥳 And was wowed and so stoked to find the box of chocolate kisses awaiting on the bed 🤗 My family and I are so happy with our stay that we will be back for more future winter stays as our new location for a family vacay 💯 We highly recommend to families especially, the value is affordable 👌 And the staff are so lovely 😍
The unit was ideal for family convenience. Quiet motel down a lane off the street. Great having two bedrooms. Also the outdoor fully enclosed spa pool was a bonus. A very pleasant stay during school holidays. The grandkids had fun driving the gocarts at Daytona and great facilities at the plaza.
The house was stunning, comfortable, kid friendly, perfect for a family, close to the CBD, warm. Facilities were clean and modern.
Friendly staff! Room was very spacious, child friendly - kids absolutely loved the spa bath, as did i. Sky TV was a bonus kept the kids entertained while I did some studying. Will definitely be back again.

We were booked into cabins (3 households) in 3 cabins side by side - which worked well for our family. Family friendly environment. Clean and tidy hot weather and each cabin had a fan. Each cabin also had toilet. We used shared kitchen , shower facilities and very large dining room. Young kids loved playground , jumping pillow and tramp . And teens were happy to spend their $1 coins on Pool.
We traveled with 3 other families and all had family units with 2-3 kids that were great value & spacious. The property also has a lovely spa, sauna and bbq area. We would all stay here again.
