The room was very quiet, I didn't hear any noise from the restaurant that was in the other part of the building. The owners are very friendly, and one can easily feel their passion for hospitality. It was a pleasure for me to get to know them. They pay a lot of attention to the comfort of their guests and have put a lot of effort and attention to detail when designing and furnishing their boutique hotel. They also own the restaurant next door, where they served delicious breakfast during my stay. The hotel is centrally located in Baarlo, very close to a supermarket. Would definitely stay again if I am back in Baarlo. Highly recommend this place.

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. La Dominotte Arcen was is one of the best places I've ever stayed in. The renovations throughout are beautifully done, for example marble in the window sills and above the bathroom sink. Combine this with modern heating system and well appointed rooms furniture, so you get the perfect experience. Hosts were super friendly and also run a very cute cheese and wine shop downstairs, and at breakfast time, they invite you to go there and select items such as local cheeses for your breakfast. Eggs are fresh that morning from their chickens. The breakfast I have to say is the best I've had in years - all fresh local ingredients.

Tama was a super friendly and accommodating host. There was even a chilled bottle of wine waiting for us upon arrival. It was just perfect for our stay visiting our daughter whilst studying abroad!

Breakfast room is very cosy and also offers a nice bar and biljart. Breakfast was really nice with all kind of fresh options, and the home made scramble eggs with bacon. In the same street there are some nice restaurants with terras. I very much enjoyed the dinner in restaurant "Bie de Burgemeester". Excellent food and wines.
