The owners are super nice and helpful. Always nice and willing to help. The decoration of the place was super cute, and everything was amazing. We booked during kermis, so we had noise from the outside, but had nothing to do with the nice room we had and the amazing staff.

Set 13 km from A'DAM Lookout, Luxury Chalets Monnickendam offers a casino, a garden and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. We had a wonderful stay at the chalets! It was a perfect location for those who want to stay outside of the big city and see some of the countryside (but still have quick access to the main sites in Amsterdam) . We loved renting bikes (the owner helped us with information on where to rent) and riding through the farmlands. We traveled with 3 small children and they slept comfortably on the couch bed. The owner was friendly and available, there were some welcome candies and drinks upon our arrival which we appreciated! The bus stop was a 6 minute walk away and could take us into the city in 20 minutes. We visited the nearby cheese farm and rode bikes into Volendam as well, it was all very accessible (and this is while bringing 3 children around!) The place was quiet and clean and the kitchen was well equipped. We had such a lovely stay and would stay here again.

Located in Piaam at 500 metres from the Ijsselmeer and 5 km from the beach, Piaam State offers a variety of basic rooms with free WiFi access. The surroundings are suited for birdwatching, cycling and hiking. We were met on arrival by our host who explained the facilities available, ie use of kitchen, tea & coffee, pool & outside seating. She kindly provided water & drinks for our first night. Our room in the eaves was large, clean & bright with characterful central beams. Lovely views from the sloping windows. A substantial buffet breakfast with an excellent choice of fresh fruit as well as cooked meats, cheeses & boiled eggs. Great location just 1.5km from the town of Makkum where there are several shops & restaurants. Also a little further to the marina & beach. Secure parking.

Beautiful little room and breakfast is delicious in a unique upper floor, the host is absolutely incredible, friendly and courteous.

This traditional renovated farm is situated in a peaceful countryside setting, only 5 minutes’ drive from Monnickendam. Overleekerhoeve offers free Wi-Fi, bicycle rental and has a picturesque waterside terrace. It's beautiful there and we were very well looked after.
