We booked during kermis, so we had noise from the outside, but had nothing to do with the nice room we had and the amazing staff.

Ria, and her beautiful and unique property were wonderful! Situated right on the picturesque harbor, it is easy walking distance to everything! We stayed on the top floor. Ria is a charming host who prepared a fabulous breakfast that could have fed a large family! If we are ever lucky enough to return to Hoorn, we will definitely stay there again!

There was a separate entrance and a door with access to the lovely garden next to a canal. The breakfast was delivered on a tray in the morning and was excellent. Our bikes were stored in a secure garage.

The communal kitchen and living room is a great size, and can easily be used by all guests without any feeling of intruding on others. The atmosphere in the B&B is so calm the whole time. The garden is amazing, very easy to unwind to the sound of nature in that garden. The host is extremely welcoming. We loved our stay at Piaam State.

Overleekerhoeve offers free Wi-Fi, bicycle rental and has a picturesque waterside terrace. it was a first and lovely experience for us living in a farmhouse. it was very clean and it surprised me there was no bad smell. my kids loved it! location is perfect not too far from city. also free parking! the host Jannie was so kind and explained to us what we needed to know to get around and also gave us fresh eggs from their farm. will definitely stay here again in the future.
