Offering a garden and garden view, Bedhot Homestay is situated in Yogyakarta, 5.5 km from Museum Sonobudoyo and 5.9 km from Sultan's Palace. The homestay was amazing with typical Javanese wood finished furniture and the rooms. The people at the kitchen were very nice and honest. The location is within the city but yet not much of noise, so that one can enjoy the serenity of the homestay. Rooms were extremely clean with comfy beds. Our stay in Jogja was beautiful and this homestay comfort was one of the big reasons behind that. We would definitely recommend this place for staying in Jogja.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and views of mountain, Blue Garden Yogyakarta is a recently renovated guest house located in Yogyakarta, 11 km from Museum Sonobudoyo. It is out in a rural area well outside the city. Very peaceful and relaxing. Room was super clean and air conditioned with a large bathroom ( no a/c) and mini bar. ( Beer and cokes only) It has a small but good restaurant ( reserve meals in advance) and a lovely garden and pool. Looks out on rice fields with birds and nature all around. It is close.to a mosque and you can definitely hear the call to prayer. It added to the atmosphere for us and they turn down the loudspeaker for the 4am call to prayer!. You can borrow the bikes and ride through the working rice fields leased from the sultan. You certainly get to see authentic rural Javanese life but its not for those who want any kind of nightlife! Beer available but no wine, so bring your own if you want to relax over a glass while getting your authenticity!

Quiet and relaxing environment. Complete facilities. Good location . Near to restaurants, cafes and mini grocery stores. Titik nol is about 25 minutes walk. Such a lovely host. I was served local food in the morning while I was sitting at the kitchenette having my usual breakfast I've bought myself prior to arriving (muesli, yoghurt and banana) and coffee (provided by the host). She gave me little snackettes for several days..bananas..fritters..currypuff..nasi Gudek.. Although, breakfast is not included in the booking. Im soo grateful. Thank you for being a superb host!
