K2 Lembeh Dive Resort features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Bitung. Featuring room service, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. The air-conditioned rooms provide a mountain view and come with a desk and free WiFi. We had an excellent 7 night stay at K2 Lembeh. The owner and the staff are outstanding. Sharon, the owner, communicated in a timely manner, answering all questions before we arrived, and then helping with arrangements during our stay via WhatsApp. Irra, who is in charge of the house and restaurant staff, was efficient and conscientious and very kind. She took care of all the details and even arranged for me to accompany her on a shopping trip to a huge market in Bitung on a day I was not able to dive. It is one of my trip highlights. Man, who is in charge of overall operations, and the dive experience, could not have been any more helpful. From arranging the details of our transportation, to taking me, after hours, into Bitung to see a doctor for an ear infection (he made the appointment, guided me to it, and stayed with me to help me figure out what was needed), to directing our dives, he always went above and beyond. You can tell that he takes pride in the operation and is very conscientious about making each guest’s stay a good experience. Fiki, our dive guide, was one of the best I have had. He was excellent at finding all those cool Lembeh Strait critters, and I also always felt very safe diving with him as he was always aware of us in the water, and was encouraging and thoughtful to me, a still slightly uncomfortable diver. The food was delicious—lots of local dishes, lots of vegetables and fresh fish. It is served as a buffet in an open area with a stunning view down the hill and to the Strait. There are a lot of steep stairs up to the dining area, but we did not mind them. The guests shared a table for meals which I really liked, as we met so many interesting travelers. The cabins are spacious, with a deck and a fine view, AC that works well, and your own carboy of water, with both hot and cold-water options.

Guests may eat in the on-site family-friendly restaurant, which is open for dinner, lunch, cocktails and high tea.

For guests with children, the homestay features outdoor play equipment and a baby safety gate. A bicycle rental service is available at FRANGKY HOMESTAY, while cycling can be enjoyed nearby. Full ten points for accommodation. Frangky and his family was friendly and organized nice trips for me. The food was insanely good. Nothing negative to comment. I will definitely come again!

Situated in Rantepao in the South Sulawesi region, NUANSA HOMESTAY Authentic&Hospitality has a garden. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. The villa features an outdoor fireplace and a 24-hour front desk. The guest house was a wonderful gem in the middle of Rantepao, conveniently located near all the Tana Toraja points of interest. I had a traditional Torajan home all to myself and it felt so special. The place was extremely clean, had all I needed. It is part of a typical Torajan family's compound. Aldi, the host went out of his way to help and assist me with everything. He even waited for us until late at night (and I felt horrible about it, because it was like 1.30 AM when I arrived), as I was driving from Makasar and arrived later than expected. He organized a 2 day tour with Mr. Ino (also recommended), who showed me around the main sights at VERY reasonable cost. The place was spotless, comfortable, and felt like I was in a documentary. Absolutely recommended. As for Tana Toraja.... it is a unique corner of our world. Make sure you spend at least 2 days there to see everything. Ask for Ino's services.

This resort was a hidden gem, exceed our expectations. The room was so good. The employee so friendly.

The food is healthy and delicious, ranging from western to local specialities. The staff is absolutely wonderful; always kind, smiling and going extra miles to make their guests feel happy and spoilt. They will help organize anything you need and chat with you if you wish to know more about the culture. The owner is very attentive, too, smiling while she mingles around the guests. There is no coincidence in Tevana being the best ranked accommodation in Bira. We have fully enjoyed our stay here and would be happy to return some day. <3

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Coral Eye Boutique Resort and Marine Outpost offers accommodation in Bangka Island. The resort has a terrace and a private beach area, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. This was exceptional, from the moment you arrive all staff is there to make sure you have the best time of your life. The rooms are beautiful, especially when you focus on the details and workmanship (beautiful wood, comfortable bed, very nice ingenious shower, a lot of storage space). The house reef is beautiful with very nice coral and a lot of different fish species. The staff is just amazing, very friendly and knowledgable with regards to hospitality. The food was just amazing, Italian Indonesian fusion cuisine with a very refined taste. Also good options for people who eat vegan/vegetarian. The diving here was very nice as well, Randy and Jek, thanks for your kindness and sharing your knowledge while diving. You all are very special.
