Because of past experiences elsewhere in Guatemala, I was a little worried about being disappointed or the food being overpriced/mediocre quality and not having other options to eat. But that was not the case at all here. Everything was excellent, the location is wonderful, it is so quiet and peaceful, the staff is great, and the food is a great value and wonderful quality. I loved it so much that we may be coming back here soon.

Because of them we felt at home and of course their food and cocktails were amazing as well! Hope to see you again guys. For a wizard rematch! And greetings to Balu, wifey and the kids.
Nice, chill place with a lovely family. Good food and drink.
Location was cool and rooms where nice, you are a little detached from the rest of rio dulce, when I was there the hostel was very quite. Sure it would be fun if it was bsuy and were traveling with a big group. Free kayak is great
Huge suite with 2 balconies. The kids were very happy to have their own seperate bedrooms! Beautiful and clean pool.
The staff do their best to keep the remainder of the property in functioning order The food was the best we had in Livingston Staff were great
Lovely facilities, fun boat ride. Great place for a family
Such a fun place. Great location. Martha and her family looked after us wonderfully.
We really enjoyed the Tortugal. I recommend it to families with children, as they can also enjoy the walks in the nature, the birds and the kayaing, and of course the good food!!
The setting is great, right at the water with a true jungle feel, but still close to town. The restaurant on site is good and affordable, and the kids loved the ropeswing to jump into the water.
Everything! Tim and Alejandra were warm and helpful, caring and personal. Help with daily things for the kids like fishing and child kayak etc. Food was good. The bungalow was special and well designed.
