We were made to feel very welcome by owners Monique and Henri. Even though we didn't speak much French and they didn't speak much English, we managed. The bedroom and lounge which were available for our use were very comfortable, as were the beds. We were welcomed to their table in the morning and shared a wonderful breakfast. We couldn't have wished for any more and would love to stay again. We left feeling almost like part of the family! Perfect hosts!

The balcony is a great perk. The village of bergheim is really charming, and an ideal location for enjoying hiking the local area. It's fantastic for exploring other, more touristic towns like Ribeauville even by foot in less than an hour, and also easy to get to places like colmar or Strasbourg by public transport. The swimming pool is a nice addition too. I enjoyed fresh croissants and baguettes from the Boulangerie every day. The hostess is a wonderful lady, she promptly came to meet me and give me all the important information, with excellent communication throughout.i would absolutely stay again.

First of all, the owner of this place is a nice lady and very helpful. She doesn't speak english at all and we couldn't speak any french, but she has google translate gadget. The place is close to back gate of the town. There is free parking space close to the payant parking, so ask the owner for the location (we didn't know and pay for nearby street parking a few euros before it is free from 19.00pm-9.00am). The room is cosy like home and the bathroom has relaxing lighting. The place is a traditional house on the outside, renovated to modern home inside.

It already had 10 points, and I realised there why they got it. It deserves for sure.
