At the same time, it’s a nice area and minutes walk to downtown. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in all shifts and areas, reception, restaurant and cleaning. The rooms with little surprises like bottles of fresh water and snacks. Detail oriented. The breakfast buffet is extraordinary, with about 10 freshly baked pies and cakes every morning. Lots of options for vegetarians. We came by car and were recommended a public parkhouse just 5 minutes away, it was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay!

In short, our stay was flawless. Highly recommended! Doris and Theo, the wonderful hosts, make every guest feel like a treasured friend. Their hospitality even extends to their two friendly dogs. We stayed in a cozy room in their recently renovated barn, equipped with a private bathroom and all the amenities we could need. The barn itself is beautifully renovated and tastefully furnished. The cozy lounge on the ground floor, complete with a fridge and small amenities, made us feel right at home. Breakfast was a daily delight! Homemade jams and preserves, perfectly cooked eggs from the farm’s chickens, and a wonderful selection of meats and cheeses awaited us each morning. The coffee and tea options were top-notch. Each breakfast was personalized, featuring homemade jam, cheese, fruit, and baguette. Doris and Theo went above and beyond by bringing a small birthday gift for our son, adding a special touch to our stay.

A selection of options including local specialities, fresh pastries and fruits is available for the continental breakfast. At the guest house, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner and cocktails and specialises in French cuisine. The owner was vary nice and attentive and really accommodated us.
