Hôtel & Spa Le Bouclier D'or is located in the historic La Petite France district in a 16th Century building, a 5-minute walk from Strasbourg Cathedral. It offers a wine bar and wellness centre, which includes a spa bath, sauna, hammam and massage room. Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff at the front desk and excellent locatiin. We added breakfast which was very good but a bit costly. Room 21 was great.

The European Parliament is a 10-minute tram ride away and free WiFi is available throughout the property. The location is very good. A very clean hotel. We were very pleased. The employees were friendly and helpful. Their agreement with the Saint Aurelie car park is another extra. We will stay here again next time we come to Strasbourg.

Very clean, roomy, nice decor with French charm. Breakfast is well organized, plenty of choices with a very good service. A special thanks to madame Fabienne, who added a “personal touch” to our stay. Location is perfect too; a short driving distance to beautiful villages of Eguisheim, Kaysersberg, Riquewihr, Ribeauvillé. Colmar is also nearby.

It was very clean very child and toddler friendly we had a 3 years old and a two year old toddler and a baby plus 2 adults the location was perfect close to everything
Loved everything, the flat was tiny, but well equipped for a holiday with the family. The heated pool was great fun for kids and adults during the cold mornings. And the garden was a delight and joy for the kids collecting the easter eggs we hid :)
This is our second time to visit this hotel. It’s really kids family friendly. They have the kids playroom in the buffet area. Parents can have a breakfast while kids are playing around. It’s really convenient to take the tram to go to the old town. The price is worth for a stay.
Excellent location. Polite owner, we spoke English. Clear communication, flexibility about check-in time. Clean apartment. Nice interior. Balcony with chairs, private parking. Child friendly. There was even kids' bedding.
The property was very comfortable, in a great location with a wonderful market across the street, everything was walkable, parking was available, Chantal, the host, was wonderful, and a great space for our family vacation. If you are traveling with kids there is a giant teddy bear our niece loved, a cot, a small bed, a park super close, and a good space with kids.

Location was great. The hotel very good compared to what I expected. Practical for a family with small children. I had a crib for my 18 months son. Clean and comfy beddings.
the hotel is perfect for families with children and also pets are welcome. the outdoor area with restaurant and swimming pool is great. in the hall there is also a fully equipped kids area!
Fantastic family suite, both baby cots (including mattresses!) perfectly made at arrival, even baby towels present. Huge bathtub which fitted us both with all three kids, great fun. Small kids corner near the lobby. Nice breakfast buffet.
Beautiful hotel. My family loved swimming in the heated pool and had the pool to ourselves. We enjoyed our elegant, traditional rooms. We rented 2 superior rooms, one had a large balcony with a sitting room that was really deluxe and peaceful. Our children enjoyed the place very much, too. We all enjoyed the wonderful art and park-like setting. It is a quiet place, close to Parc Wesserling, which is fun and educational for kids. Breakfast was wonderful and deluxe.
