The quietness of the village and that Buitrago was only 5mins drive from this village! Also the accommodation was insulated and you have control over how hot the apartment can be. Also there was sleeping for 6 persons (we were a family with 3 young children 2x5 and 8 year old). The place was spotless and self contained with cooking/cleaning facilities. Bathroom spotless and the whole apartment was interior designed. The owner took a lot of pride in maintaining this place! Definitely staying here again!

Perfect location in the village. Very cute surroundings. Like a postcard from a medieval town in spain, Miraflores is probably a gem even for the local Madriders. Good working AC even when it was 36 outside, it was No problem! Little hustle to get parking when you arrive, but there are free parking around 150meters up the road, so No biggie. Breakfast in the restaurant downstairs, basic and good with a little spanish touch. Kid-approved aswell! Kiosk thats open late at night just 25meters away. Rooms fler bigger than on the pictures.
Gorgeous and perfect 'Hobbit house' (we felt that we were on the film set). Spotlessly clean throughout. Incredible use of a small space to provide complete functionality, as well as beautiful design and decor. Large comfy bed. Lots of pots, pans, cutlery, etc. Large fridge/freezer... and ice cubes awaited us... thank you!! Clean wc/shower (although perhaps needs the grout renewing....).
We loved the owner Nicholas ,such a nice man .It's a family business and it feels like it . The lodges were lovely and a wee walk over to his bar and restaurant for a lovely meal . used by the locals so that tells you a lot .We will be back to stay as soon as possible. Thanks Nicholas!

The fact that the staff went out of their way to help you ie printing off our PLF s at no extra cost. Spoke very good English and were very polite.Would stay here again and would also recommend friends and family.
The hiatal was literally 5 mins off motorway and on the main road so easy to find, the room was clean and the beds very comfortable but noisy, the cleaning staff where very kind and friendly the bar maid who booked us in was incredibly rude. There was a huge crib in our room for some reason, the sink and bath didn’t have a plug, there wasn’t a nice fan in our room but it struggled to copy with the hot weather.
