The main house that we stayed in was very well appointed and a very comfortable stay. The couple who run the place are super friendly and very helpful.

We did an overnight on our way to the Kruger, and it was exceptional. The rooms were neat and clean, beds were comfy and the shower was hot. Our host Pierre went out of his way to make sure that we were comfortable and looked after. We arranged for dinner and breakfast at the lodge, both of which were absolutely superb. Very glad that we came across this gem, very convenient if needing an overnight stop on the way to the Kruger area. Wouldn't think twice to book again.

The welcoming home-made bread is to die for. thanks again** Perfect location between mountains and nature galore. I have to mention the dogs, who accompanied us on all hiking trails. The kids absolutely loved them, I kinda miss them also now. The 4 nights we stayed there felt like home even without TV. Wi-fi is available on the premises.

So peaceful and quiet! (Tho there is a train coming once in a while, but no bother for us). We had everything we needed and really enjoyed our stay, eventually booked another night. One of the most fun things were definitely the dogs! They stayed until the evening and woke us up in the morning. We miss them already! They’re great company and wjll guide you through the hikes starting from the house. We definitely rexommend staying here!
This place was AMAZING for me and my family. The children were so excited that they didn't use the Wi-Fi provided and didn't watch the TV in the hall. We ran, we walked, we swam, rode on horses and we connected as a family. The dogs went with us everywhere and came back with us. When we woke up we found them laying on the porch. The view is PARADISE! We are definitely going back! Oh, the camp fire at night :)
