Tucked away on the West Coast, 15 km from Yzerfontein, !Khwa ttu is the only heritage and education centre dedicated to the San of Southern Africa. Its award winning museum was opened in 2018. Guests can experience authentic interactions, cultural tours, art and exhibitions.

This is a great place to experience nature so close to Cape Town. I can highly recommend staying at Khwa ttu! The breakfast that is included it exceptional and the staff was super accommodating and friendly.

We were warmly welcomed by Baby Rose at the reception and checking in was effortless. Our tent was clean and neat. Our time there was memorable, will be coming back again. A well recommended place that's very educational. Our game range drive was a wow for us.

Food at restaurant exceptional, we enjoyed every breakfast we had. Staff were very accommodating and after the little things were sorted we had a wonderful stay. The kids just loved every minute and even the rain could not put a damper on it. The Bush lodge is very comfortable but really needs some attention and maintenance otherwise great.

We were two grannies with 3 grandchildren ( ages 6,4 +4) camping in one tent and beds ,linen, furniture, etc was fine, however, we should have upgraded to a tent with its own ablutions as it was rather nerve-wracking going out in the darkness to the toilet, especially as the pathway lights weren't working. Overall, we had a super time and was excellent value for money as price included breakfast. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. We will be back

Underrated in my opinion and of all the places we have visited 12 out of 10 for openly hospitable. They were willing to accomodate our kids in the tent with extra mattresses supplied. The kids enjoyed the outdoor space to just run around and enjoy the fire and marshmallows. Ask about extra beds! They are accommodating. Facilities and rooms were adequate and furnished with all necessities. Was great to get a camping without having to pitch the tent. Breakfast was unique and yummy. We highly recommend everyone to do this at least once.
