The lodge is beautiful and very well equipped with everything you need as for example a fan for cooling and a heater and extra blankets. The lodge is equipped with a double bed, a working desk, a wardrobe, a kitchen and a bathroom. We especially liked the incredible view from the terrace. Ingrid was an amazing host, she was very caring and helpful. She booked great tours in the reserves around the area for us.

So much. The super comfortable huge bed and lovely lodge room. The amazing kind staff especially Rashida and Talent. Lying by the pool looking out over the water hole after our morning game drive. The sensationally knowledgeable ranger Craig who not only found us the big five but told us wonderful stories and we learned so much about the local birds including the rare clapperlark.

Everything! The rooms were beautiful, immaculate and the bed was so comfortable. The common areas and reception were gorgeous and welcoming. The food was perfect every time, we didn’t have a bad meal once! Really could not fault anything, and would recommend it to anyone. What really made our stay was the exceptional staff, who could not have done more to ensure we were looked after to the highest standard at all times. They were so welcoming, and made sure every guest was happy and looked after. Everything was so well organised, we didn’t have to do anything from check in to check out. The game rides were amazing, and our truly amazing guide, President, made this an experience I will never forget

Staff went above and beyond even when the weather turned for the worse.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Loved the wilderness experience, animals all around us, family meal, conversation, freedom to walk around the property at will.
Bed was comfortable and food was lovely.
The reserve is big, has a lot of animals and our guide, Sean, was just amazing. He shared his knowledge with us, was always attentive, funny and open to answer any questions we had. The room in which we stayed was beautiful, clean, had all the necessary amenities. Just note that if you need heating, you’ll have to ask beforehand (we did without it). The 3 meals we were served per day were very good and enough, and the staff serving it always adorable.
The whole family is super nice and we had dinner together on the very first evening. We had interesting conversations about the country and its people with Olaf about photography. Marie gave me lots of interesting insights into the keeping and breeding of her animals.
All in all, it was a very nice stay!
Everything was just perfect. The rooms. The Service. The food. The safaris with Nel. So interesting to learn about nature and animals. She she did the safari with so much passion, professionalism and so much fun. Exceptional. We had the best time ever. We stayed for two nights but it felt like a week. Nothing to add. If any chance we would love to come back anytime.
Our guide,Josh was fantastic - very knowledgeable and caught onto the May family sense of humour-
Everyone in the lodge was amazing- thanks to Nina and her team.
Even made use of the plunge pool
What an amazing place- they upgraded our accommodation before we arrived as marks camp is more family friendly. We stayed at treetops which was so amazing- our room was gorgeous and the staff so friendly and attentive. M bAli and her team looked after us beautifully and Sivi our ranger was the best- we really lucked out- so knowledgable about the animals- an amazing experience.
Staff were very friendly and Peter the ranger was exceptionally knowledgeable and funny. Very high level of service and accommodation and food we're excellent. Very highly recommended.
Great staff and good quality overall experience. The welcome was unique and the initial drive to the lodge was fun. The pool by the watering hole was fantastic too. Mel was a great guide.
Olaf and family. We got there on a very hot day to be told tap water was not potable and no ESKOM, gas fridge needs 2 days to cool and solar panel had a problem. Charming Olaf sorted all out on Thursday and we had a brilliant stay. I am not s good walker so Olaf upgraded us at no extra cost, bloody marvellouS. Highly recommend. On last night we watched for 2 hours 4 lions trying to get an elephant calf. Did not succeed as 1 very large elephant chased the male at speed away when he drew close. EXCELLENT
