We wanted a room with a view, and staying at the Lofts in Tower 1, we certainly got it. Private terrace, facing the lagoon where we could enjoy the sunset. The room was lovely and comfortable, decorated as beachy-chic. Lovely strong shower, just what you need after a dip in the lagoon. The breakfast (at Nest) was tasty, the bar had a cool vibe and there were plenty of restaurant options within walking distance. Lots of cute spaces within the hotel to chill out in if you can tear yourself away from the terrace and the hotel has kayaks too. Special mention of the concierge Dylan, who was super passionate about all the garden route had to offer and was so helpful with hints and tips on what to do within and around Knysna.

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend away. The cottage was beautifully decorated, with everything that we needed. It was located on a wonderful estate with lots of fun activities for kids including canoeing, mini golf, a heated swimming pool, cycling and a games room. The cottage was conveniently located in Knysna with easy access to shops and tourist attractions. It really was the perfect family getaway and we will definitely visit again!
From the start, we loved the Simola Hotel! It's a beautiful Hotel, the staff was so friendly and we were greeted with so much professionalism! The suite we stayed in was also amazing, spacious, with beautiful decor! Wish we could've stayed another few nights but we had places to be the next day. This is really a gem of a Hotel. Next time we are definitely bringing the kids along too as the whole resort is very family friendly. Just have to say again, the staff is fantastic!
The rooms were big with kitchen, lounge and dining table. The staff were super helpful and friendly. And the kids club was so awesome! So many fun activities for the kids. My daughter could not wait to go every day!
The suites were bigger than anticipated, with kitchen and lounge area. would recommend this for over the executive suite if staying for a few days.

The kids club and daily entertainment was fantastic. We had no reason to leave the hotel. Philani, who heads up the entertainment was an absolute legend with the kids and has the entire family addicted to Bingo! Would highly recommend, esp for a family with kids.

The reception was exceptional warm, the rooms, the price affordable, the care for children will recommend to parents as they accommodate kids and make sure they enjoy their stay and be entertained with movie slot, goodies etc
We loved our stay at Chez Pierre, this family friendly place is just perfect. great place if you have kids, nice pool and outside area, great location and short walk to places to eat. the host is so friendly and gave us lots of tips of what to do. breakfast was amazing and the waffles were the best we have ever had! we hope to return soon!

The best stay for families with young kids. The food is fantastic, service amazing, the facilities well appointed. I had the most relaxing massage treatment at Bliss spa with Melissa and the cheery on top was the Kids Club edutainment programme led by Philani and Akhona made this our family holiday destination of choice. We even booked our stay for 2022 when we checked out!
