The chalets are gorgeous and well thought out with plenty of space. Every room had windows with fantastic views of lions river or the mountains toward dargle. However it is the small details that really make it like including salt and pepper in the kitchen or providing a hair dryer with an adaptor in the bedroom cupboard. We went in September to see the snow and the chalet was wonderfully cosy with a wood burning fireplace in the lounge. (wood can be purchased from the owners at a small fee and is well worth it) The chalets are extremely easy to find and the roads are very good even the 2km on dirt road. The owner are very friendly and hospitable and will help in any way possible. Over all it was a fantastic experience and we will be back again.

We loved the garden cottage - so luxurious, private and spacious. we loved the welcome we received , being taken to our unit and the care the butler took to explain all about the facilities and plan for the evening ahead.
The tasting menu experience is of course amazing but the breakfast every time stands out as exceptional.

I loved everything about this property. The location, the privacy, I loved the bread, the eggs, the milk, the firewood, and everything else was just on point.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Excellent staff who were incredibly welcoming. They made us feel like part of the family. The lodge is in a beautiful setting with immediate access to good walks. We drove in by night which was a little challenging but the staff provided excellent guidance which ensured it was a safe trip. The food was excellent and facilities very comfortable. Highly recommended.
Friendly, peaceful and beautiful. Plenty to do on the farm - dams for trout and bass fishing, trails for walking, bird watching. Neighbours Highmoor Nature Reserve, which is awesome for hiking. Staying at Silver Hill Lodge feels like staying with family :)

Set in a stunning location. Large room. But most of all a friendly, homely atmosphere. Almost like family. Great dinners and excellent wines by the fire. So much to see and do in the vicinity. We loved it.
