Best stay during our 15 days trip. It was magnificent, the rondavel (bungalow), the equipment, the gardens (fantastic and magical gardens with a wonderful swimmingpool). It was like staying in Eden. Congratulations for having such a beautiful and wonderful place to offer.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Convenient comfortable accommodation, great for the family for a quiet weekend exploring and hiking. Fridge, Freezer, microwave, stove, ample seating and comfy beds.
The position in town is great, close to restarants, but away from the main road and backs onto the walking trails.
There was great information about the things to do, warm hostess and very well kitted out space that was great for kids and quality family time.
We LOVED everything about the property!! This was home away from home. Family vibe and the nature around you just makes you forget about your problems for a few days.
We stayed in the family unit, because my wife prefers to bath. To our pleasant surprise the bathroom boasted both a bath and shower! The unit is very cozy and the linen and blankets are of good quality. We would like to spend more time at Kattekwaad. Both Lulu and Chris are friendly hosts and they even started the generator for us (during load shedding) so that we could finish on time for our next appointment.
This cottage on the Kaapsehoop escarpment is a gem of the Lowveld. So cozy in winter with fireplace and snug blankets and is super cool in the summer. The cottage is fully functional and the hosts are so friendly and helpful. Wild horses right outside your door and a view to die for. If you need to relax and unwind - this is the place for you. Close to all the sights, restaurants and walking trails. Love this place and will return again and again.
From arriving and being welcomed by Chris and Lulu like family, to the room and facilities this is a great stay.
Add a superb breakfast (order when booking) and your stay is amazing.
