What an amazing find! Some of our group of 8 wanted to enjoy shark cage diving and we came across Benguela and struck lucky. The whole atmosphere is one of relaxed sophistication, with beautiful and quirky decoration and artwork. The bedrooms lead out on to a pool area, which is quite intimate, but was not a problem as our group had taken the rooms. There is a stocked fridge in the room and the shower has plenty of power.
The real Gem of this place is Jonathan and his team. We opted to join for dinner which was the most amazing experience at the big, shared table. The experience started with gathering in the lounge for drinks and meeting the couple of other guests, then moving into the incredible dining room for a 5-course banquet, complete with paired wines. All the time being entertained by Jonathan and his very friendly hounds.
Breakfast the next day was of course both tasty and beautifully presented.
We had a couple of other requests. Like borrowing some towels and checking out later – all of which were kindly met with pleasure from our very accommodating host. We would be very happy to stay again…… you can book for the dinner even if you are not staying. Highly recommended.

We were visiting family, so the location was ideal. The entire apartment was clean and tidy. The hosts were very friendly and helpful too. I must add that the beds were very comfortable!
What a beautiful place to stay , the views are unexplainable, the photos can't capture the essence of this place , the unit was huge for a family of 4 , the extras seemed like a homely touch of a host that really appreciates there guests, from roller towels, washing tabs , dishwasher tabs , coffee , tea , sugar, so much more , not to mention full gas for the braai . This property is perfect for a 2 people. The living area is spacious, the kitchen is well equipped with beautiful and functional kitchenware. The bedroom is tidy, and bed and pillows were very comfortable. On-suite is neat. The property is in a cul-de-sac, so it is nice and quiet. Overall, the property was very clean and neat, beautiful interior, comfortable and well equipped with all you need for an overnight stay.
outstanding location. Arrived late afternoon to see whales breaching in the ocean just beyond the veranda.
Apartment was spacious, attractively furnished and very well equipped. Our teenage kids described it as 'luxurious' which is fair. Our bed were sumptuous.
Fred, the host, was both communicative and generous.
