We really enjoyed the location and the friendly staff. We booked a great safari with dinner and partly night drive and it was amazing. We could get so close to the animals.

Happy Jackal is the ideal starting point for a tour on the river or to Addo (2 minutes). Suzette is very caring. She recommended a good route through Addo where we saw all the animals except for lions and leopards (Maybe we didn't look hard enough.). There is a supermarket and a small restaurant 4 minutes away. The house is large, with very comfortable beds and well equipped. But we didn't really use the kitchen etc. but enjoyed the delicious breakfast from Suzanne and her staff overlooking the river before we started to Addo.

De Old Drift Guest Farm is a working citrus farm, located outside the small village of Addo and 15 minutes' drive away from Addo Elephant National Park. It offers an outdoor pool and sun terrace.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Great location close to the Alexandria dunes and the Addo south gate. Excellent breakfast served on the deck overlooking the Sunday's River. We booked the family unit, with 2 interleading rooms, each room with its own bathroom. Sandboarding and kayaking were great.
The staff was super friendly and efficient. They upgraded my accommodation to a bigger place to be comfortable with the kids. Place was clean, big and with everything one needs. The children loved it and the grounds next to the river.
Absolutely amazing. Really big and beautiful accomodation with braai places and big pool and garden. Playground around the corner. Good location for visiting Addo or other activities in the area.
Hosts are very friendly and helpfull and even provided motorcycle toys the kids loved.
It is very stylish but functional. Lots of thought has gone into the furnishings and room features. The bedroom had a lovely balcony and riverside view.
We also loved the local pub, 5 mins down the road that was safe to walk to- Grunters- great value and a very welcoming landlord. And we can highly recommend the river cruise with Beau who did a fantastic dune walk with us.
Great location for a visit to Addo Elephant Park. Very close to Addo Ematjolweni gate. Easy access from N2.Superbly well equipped kitchen. Spacious, beautifully furnished, especially Unit 1 which is a 3 bedroom with your own pool and lapa.Very welcoming owner who is willing to go an xtra-mile to help you with anything. The place is child friendly with a lot of kids activities to play. Friendly staff. There chocolates on the pillow, luxury toiletries in the bathroom. The house is beautifully decorated.

I stayed here with my family (two children aged 3 and five and my wife) for 2 nights and we had everything we need. Wayne is a super nice host who gave us many helpful recommendations and who even prepared us breakfast very early so that we could go for our game drive in Addo National Park. Breakfast is very good, accomodation is also located very good if you want to visit the Addo National Park or go to the Sand Dunes. Room like the whole house is very clean. So really nothing to complain about.
