A beautiful house in stunning surroundings. Undercover bike parking. Lovely spots to relax overlooking thac ba lake or the very large pond full of entertaining carp. My host Juan (apologies for spelling) and his family were super friendly and welcoming. As I was the only guest, Juan joined me for a couple of jugs of their rice wine over a delicious dinner - we ended up having our own karaoke party. Best night in my Vietnam trip.

The staff we’re so nice! And the view is absolutely amazing! When we checked in we got some options to explore the neighborhood. We went for a boat trip and they gave us lots of information about the lake and the people who live there. Afterwards we got invited to join them for dinner. This was the most memmorable dinner we had in our time in vietnam. They taught us all the traditions including plenty of rise whine (Po zao!!). A big thank you to Mina, Juan and the rest of the crew. If you have the chance to come here i would definitely go there!

Gorgeous gardens setting and comfortable rooms beautiful welcoming staff happy to provide information and advice for exploring the local area and beyond as well as just to have a chat. Potentially a little out of the way, on the edge of the city, but this is part of the appeal, and easy to walk into central Yen Bai, or arrange taxi or motorbike rental to get around. Great drinks on offer at the on site cafe/tea house
