Everything, not to describe, heaven on earth! Everything was right! Please stay in this place, with pictures you cannot describe. The view, the pool, the breakfast, the attention of the team... everything just perfect and oh de kajak, the bike... you just take it.... Top Oh and just a few km. from the beach of Josè Ignacio... and if you want the team arrange all your lunch and diners in Josè Ignacio... but their own kitchen is fine too...

Sierra Azul is an exceptional property that is part of a larger land holding used primarily for grazing. The owners have systematically curated the planting of various trees and other plants to make a wonderful environment for relaxation and appreciation of/encounters with various animals (different species of birds, sheep, cows, horses and the sweet house cat, Lulu). There is an awesome treehouse near the main house that is very well built and fitted out for young children. The main house is completely fitted out for living year-round and is suitable for a wide range of travelers.
The house is difficult to photograph/understand from the exterior because it is partially covered by a green canopy (literally old vines on a trellis structure). This makes complete sense once you are occupying the house, as the canopy provides some protection against excessive heat gain during the summer season and heat loss during the winter. The flowering vines also attract a number of species of humming birds!
Our family (couple with one 6-year old boy, and grandparents) spent a month here and it more than met our needs for accommodations and a base from which to do sight-seeing and beach time in the larger area. For city folk (NYC and Boston), this was a truly wonderful experience. The couple who own the property were in regular communication and were exceptional hosts.
Located in José Ignacio, 200 metres from Mansa, LUZ Culinary Wine Lodge provides accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge.

A big surprise in the hinterland of José Ignacio. When booking, I was unsure whether the minimalist architecture might be too sterile, but it wasn't. With only eight very spacious rooms, a very exclusive affair - there was only one other guest there with us. Nevertheless, there is the full hotel operation with a really exceptionally well-trained and friendly staff and a service that responds within seconds. Actually, it seems more like a private home that has been opened to allow a few guests to enjoy this place. Wonderful!
This Ecotourism Center, located 5 km from José Ignacio, offers exclusive floating rooms with panoramic views built for you to live a unique experience, on the shores of the Garzón Lagoon.

Laguna Garzon is a unique and gorgeous setting. Fish were jumping around our cabin all afternoon. The resto is beautiful. We ate some of the jumping fish for dinner. Fantastic! And the breakfast was excellent as well. It was a quiet day and we were invited by the owner/manager? to hang out. There was no rush to check out.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
