First, Michelle the owner, was just delightful to work with and actually checked in with us to see if we needed anything! The cottage was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. There was absolutely EVERYTHING you could want or need for a wonderful stay at the beach. We visited and hiked in the Dunes National Park which was a short drive away. The cottage is also close to many wonderful restaurants. We will return if given the chance. This choice was so much more comfortable and reasonably priced compared to other lodging options. It was exactly as pictured and the location was great. We walked to almost every restaurant and shopping. The host checked in after our first night and quickly fixed a couple of small things (nightlight burned out) without us asking for it. Coffee setup was perfect for slow morning starts. We saw other cars and briefly heard other guests in the hallway, but never heard them from our unit. Everywhere we went in Michigan City was a positive experience.
