The rooms were great, the beach was exceptional, and most of all, the people were AMAZING. We especially loved the old timers. They were all retired maybe and this was their second career? What ever it was, it was so sweet to be taken care of grandpa and granny. Also the spa staff were so skilled and I have been to many many many spas throughout the world. But they were experienced and knowledgeable and not pushy. I liked that the gratuity was included so that I didn't have to worry about it afterward. The receptionist at the spa could have been a little sweeter.

I got the best shaved ice right in the resort and spa. It had great beach access. it was a great place to have a wedding. The waterfall in the middle of the hotel was beautiful. The valet parking was very helpful.

The Waikiki Malia was in a perfect spot for easy access to shopping, eating and public transport. The staff at the malia were lovely and friendly, from front counter to housecleaners. Must be a popular spot as it was very busy with tourists. Highly reommended.
