it is placed in the middle of a field away from any urban noise. right next to it is a wonderfull traditional Maramureș architectural style monastery (75m wooden tower) which you can admire also especialy at sun set from your room window or visit it in a 7 minutes walk through the forest. we got welcomed at arrival (late mid night) with happy smiles and palinca. one and a half kilometer away you can visit the "happy cemetery of Săpânța" and at the staffs recomandation we also took time to enrich our understanding of our recent history by visiting The Comunist Detention Memorial Museum and the Ellie Weissel house from Sighetul Marmației (25 min car ride).

We arrived at our destination early but the owner accommodated us in a few minutes without any problems. The apartment is ultra-modern, it was extremely clean, with all the necessary equipment.
