The staff are absolutely great and go the extra mile to make sure customers enjoy their stay. The rooms spacious and comfy, the pools and comunal area were clean. They are doing a great job. The breakfast is quite good, i would suggest some variation to pancakes like, they could add french toast on their menu 😋

Our bungalow had a lovely aspect facing the ocean through gardens and the infinity pool. I think most of the bungalows would have had a similar view from the layout.
Marafiiki was comfortable, relaxed and welcoming. The gardens and bar restaurant were all very nicely thought through and presented.
We were staying Bed and Breakfast, but in addition used the restaurant about half of our time where the seafood was good and compared well to when we ate elsewhere.
The setting was tranquil, the sea and gardens spectacular. The places was friendly and I enjoyed the evening calls and sightings of resident Bush baby.

I wouldn’t know where to begin. The property was a dream, lovely location, perfect to switch off and survive on cocktails and great food. The hotel staff was incredible, we made some many friends and they truly went out of their way to care for us. My husband and I were celebrating our bdays and it was a wonderful experience. I was also heavily sunburnt after going to the sea and the staff did everything they could to help me with that. 10/10 recommend Zaanblu!

it is a truly boutique hotel as it only has like 6 rooms, our group was in 3 of them and no other guests, so it was like our own little hotel. Hanging out within the hotel was relaxing and enjoyable. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. The pool was nice, tasty breakfast, daily room cleaning, air conditioning worked well. The location on the island is good if you want to explore the northern part and middle. It was a good place to recharge after a safari or a long day around the island - sleep, swim in the pool or lay in the sun beds by the pool and have good breakfast. One of our rooms had a faulty door lock, the hotel reacted quickly by moving us to a new room, which was a free upgrade as well, so from day 1 we felt taken care of in the best way. Thank you!

Loved everything about the room and it's location the sunbeds, towels , the pool, bar, food, sandbank and a dj party on it, jet ski, atmosphere ,staff, drinks and the whole hotel ! The soap and balm had lovely smell as well! The high tide started at around 3pm so the sandbank was gone but we could swim and the view was lovely, water so warm. At night I could hear the waves, and my partner woke up at around 6am and watched the waves and sunrise 🌅 beautiful

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Vila Julito in Kiwengwa, Zanzibar, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Carlos, the owner, whose hospitality and friendliness made us feel right at home.

I come back for another holiday
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Nice quiet family hotel located on the seashore.
Good breakfast, but would like a little variety.
There are several restaurants in the area on the beach where you can have a tasty dinner.
The rooms are clean, the plumbing is new, the humidity due to the weather leaves much to be desired.
Very nice good-natured owners of the hotel, I send them my regards
Staff is very kind and helpful, especially Angela and Victor. facilities are good, very tasty food at all meals. Rooms are big and there is a lot of space. We enjoyed our family vacation very much.
Breakfast was average.Location of the hotel is superb. The check-in team (Stella and two other guys) at the reception are excellent. Zabron and Nestory at the restaurant were also very helpful to us with our baby on choices of food for him.The hotel room was comfortable to accommodate our family. The kids area was a bonus to us as we could let our son play and the staff were good with him. In general staff are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay 👍🏿
Great location with quiet beachfront with beach even at high tide. Comfortable family room, quiet and relaxing boutique hotel. Most rooms around pool and garden area. Food was amazing with lots of choice for fussy teenagers.Staff very attentive and fun. Great scub diving//snorkelling in the area. Would definitely recommend

The staff really made us feel welcome. Family rooms were nice and the pool by the family rooms was nice. Could do with a few slides for kids and kids activities. Kids club is very basic and could do with some extra things. Food was okay. Overall was a good stay and would recommend Kiwengwa Beach Resort.
