The best place in Cappadocia. The hotel has been run by a young lady Sharife and her husband. They worked really hard to make us feel very welcomed. Sharife is very friendly and speaks good English. She helped us to make our sightseeings itinerary, recommended super good dining places and even kept track of the weather forecast for us so we could adapt our trip plans. She also upgraded our room to a fancier one for free. The hotel is brand new and very cozy decorated and has an ace view on the Ulchisar castle. The breakfast was delicious, we specifically liked home made cherry and peach jams made by Sharife’s mother in law. The property also has a supper friendly puppy who kept us a good company.

We were here for our honeymoon and really really loved our stay! We highly highly recommend staying in Ahiyan. The staff welcomed us by decorating the room with roses and even fruits and nuts for snacks. All the staff were exceptional. Semra, the receptionist was very kind and really went above and beyond to help us. She was very sweet and even taught us some Turkish phrases to help us get around. Mehmet, the hotel manager was professional and extremely helpful. He was available and willing to help us anytime (even offering to give us a 3am wake up call for our balloon ride!). The young boy (sorry we forgot his name!), although spoke little English, still went above and beyond to help us in any capacity he could, such as carrying our bags and helping us with laundry. The traditional Turkish breakfast was absolutely delicious and one of the personal highlights for us during our whole trip to Turkiye. The chef cooked the breakfast fresh every morning and food was served to the table. We got to enjoy it all on their terrace with a view of the nearby Uchisar castle. The breakfast menu had staples that were served everyday, though it was not repetitive as they tried to switch some of the menu up a bit. I personally especially enjoyed the omelette with sucuk! The hotel itself is a new boutique hotel that opened around 8 months ago according to the staff, so the facilities are all new, very comfortable and extremely clean. We appreciated the free netflix provided to enjoy after a long day of tours. Location wise, there is quite a few traditional restaurants only about 2-3 min walk from the hotel and cheaper than in Goreme. Taxi station is available nearby, otherwise the hotel also provides private taxi for guests. Overall, we felt extremely safe and comfortable during our stay, and felt very lucky to have found such an excellent hidden gem during our time in Cappadocia. The view was amazing, fantastic location where you could witness the hot air balloons from the hotel with a clear view, near to Goreme for the hot air balloon ride, staff is very generous and helpful and will assist you with everything related to the city tours, highly recommended!

Everything! The room was fantastic, the view from the terrace was breathtaking! I particularly liked the breakfast!! Even though I ate only a portion of the breakfast I felt satuated for the rest of the day LoL! The location is also amazing, if you want something calmer then this is definitely the go-to optioj for you! Uchisar is not buzzing like Göreme, but you get a better view and more relax.

The property was beautiful and the staff was so kind and helpful. Their breakfast was delicious. They upgraded us to a room with a pool and the other room with a jacuzzi so it made our stay extra special. Additionally, they were able to squeeze in last minute excursions as well as move around activities based on our needs. They even were able to bring in massage services to our rooms. I highly recommend them!
