The restaurant is exceptional, offering not just typical hotel meals but a true taste of Ayvalık. The dishes were carefully prepared, and at breakfast, the regional olives and cheeses were beautifully presented. The beach is calm and well-maintained, with special services for guests with pets. We’ve experienced pet-friendly services before, like in Switzerland during a ski trip, but D Resort truly stands out as a pet-friendly hotel.
One minor issue we encountered was that areas designated for guests with pets during breakfast and by the beach were sometimes taken by other guests who found those spots appealing. I don’t know why 😁
However, the staff quickly resolved the issue by finding us a new place.
The service quality is top-notch, and the staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The sea is warm, and the sandy beach is perfect for families with young children. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the bungalows come with large gardens and balconies, providing a refreshing and open atmosphere.
If you’re looking for a place where you can swim peacefully, avoid large crowds, listen to the sound of the sea, and enjoy a gentle breeze without being overwhelmed by noise or crowded activities, this is the perfect spot. It’s an ideal, peaceful retreat for families with little paws.

The interior of the hotel is really cosy. Our room on the top floor featured a small balcony with a sea view. Standard good Turkish hotel breakfast, included some freshly made pastries, in a beautiful and quiet courtyard. The location is very near to Cunda center, yet very quiet. We really liked this hotel and ended up extending our stay by a day partly because of this.

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Wonderful, family run-hotel with the heart of the owners visible in every aspect. Excellent facilities (swimming pool better than expected), very nice breakfest and overall nice, cosy atmosphere. The only downside was perhaps the fact that the curtains did not ensure minimum darkening in the room.
The hosts, Mehmet and Hakan, offer a professional service but make you feel at home. They are always available and ready to help you, to give recommendations about restaurants and places to visit. Moreover, they are always ready to have a chat with you.
We have really appreciated them.
Kidalyo is very close to Ayvalik center and in front of the bus stop to reach all the beaches.
EROL is a small family hotel with a very friendly staff. It is on a first line just 20 meters from the sea with its own beach. The breakfast is mainly typically Turkish with different kind of olives ond olive paste, but eggs and small sausages also available. The rooms are not big but with enough space to feel comfortable and the view to the sea is exceptional especially in early morning and on sunset.
We had a great time at the Ege Apart Otel, the people were friendly and helpful. It’s family friendly, we were with a three year old so the pool was great to have even if the beach is right in front of the hotel. An added benefit was also that the mosque was far enough that you hardly heard the chanting, especially great for our three year old as she was quite upset every time it happened.
