Only 5 mins walk away from Charlie Beach. The bungalows were in a lush green environment which was cool throughout the day. Room was clean with a lovely space to lounge outdoors.
The kind owner Wan was very efficient in getting our needs met. The public ferry was cancelled due to bad weather and she arranged for a big longtail to get us back to the mainland.
Hope to visit again in the dry season to visit the Emerald Cave.

Rinna Resort has by far the best location on the island. It is located on a mountain near the pier with a beautiful view.
In addition, the owners are the nicest people we met during our trip through Thailand.
The day we had to leave we had to get up early and the owner came to us in the evening to ask what we wanted for breakfast so that it was ready early in the morning.
I highly recommend this place!!

Nice location near the pier and on the way to the village. Garden-like, spacious surroundings. The room was nice and clean, but the promised seaview was questionable. Anyway, a lovely stay and well worth the money. Recommended!

This hostel is the perfect place to stay just a 2 min walk from the main street and 2 min walk to the beach. The island is very quiet so it was nice to meet other solo travellers there. Everything was very clean, there was free tea coffee and water, the owner was super friendly and helpful

The bungalow was very quaint, all made of bamboo and woven leaves. The bathroom was lovely and the shower pressure was impressive. The location was perfect too; close to the pier, right opposite the supermarket, woth lots of little bars and restaurants just minutes away. 10 minute walk to silvalai beach. There's no Aircon but the fan is enough to sleep with.
I also made friends with some local dogs who would wait for me in the morning and evening to go for walks and would sleep outside my door. Very cute.

The bungalows were surrounded by a beautiful garden with so many butterflies. Inside, the room and bathroom felt spacious and were very comfortable. The hosts were so incredibly friendly and funny. Restaurant had great cheap food too. Plus it was a 5 minute walk from the main beach (Charlie beach). Overall it was amazing and I would thoroughly recommend it, and it is a bargain!
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The resort is very simple. The rooms are very small and functional, everything is clean, and the air conditioning is pleasantly quiet. The location is fantastic, and the pool is nice too.
The service from all the staff is excellent. The breakfast is very simple but sufficient. The dishes in the restaurant have all been delicious. The arrival/departure and onward journey were well organized for us.
A bit out of town but an easy walk to the shops etc. Lovely tranquil place, relaxing athmosphere, very well maintained garden with strategic hammocks, a clean pool and an excellent restaurant! We rented scooters to drive to Charlies beach. The beach is not as beautoful and clearwatered as the other side og the island and at low tide the water withdraws quite far....but the kids loved that as well as it was a treasuretrove of animallife, shells, corals etc. All in all one of our favourite spots as a family :)
We stayed at the family suite with was a nice two floor room. A/C was of a new model and low sound. Pool was okay but not toddler friendly (no kids pool). Good restaurant
Fantastic family hotel, near everything, rent a birke or take a taxi tuk tuk to Charlie Beach .
Water, coffe free everyday, the family help with everything we love the small hotel and come back again in the end of 2024

Our stay at Koh Mook Garden Resort was the highlight of our 3 week vacation, where we stayed at 5 different places.
What made this place so special was not that it had the best rooms, food, biggest pool, but the family running out. And this is that kind of experience that will stick with you and that you will remember for a long time. They are so friendly and helpful that it feels like a home being there. Also very kids-friendly!
wonderful friendly hosts, with free tuktuk rides everywhere! great friendly layout around the pool and lovely staff and food. we stayed as a family of four and the kids had a room under ours. perfect for us all.
Great family and staff where you are staying, super friendly, helpful and doing their very best to give you a nice holiday. Dada let us enjoy a Thai cooking workshop in the kitchen and showed us how to make coconut oil. The 2 apartment with 2 rooms is perfect for families with kids aged 6 and up. Plenty of room, clean, just a bit difficult stairs for young kids. Great breakfast buffet.
Staff absolutely amazing, dogs amazing, location in nature close to the best beach on the island, kayak rental and snorkel equipment.

Spent 9 nights there and it was the best place to unwind, relax and slow down. Very family friendly place and island in general.
Su, the mother of the owner family, is a fun personality. She helped me to organise a birthday cake to my partner - surprise succeeded! She is also a good cook herself. The whole family is always up for helping you out.
Our so called family room was beautiful and had big big windows on two sides into the jungle - what a view to wake up to!
