Koh Mak White Sand Beach, hotel in Ko Mak

Nestled along the pristine stretch of Ao Kao Beach, Koh Mak White Sand Beach offers comfortable modern tropical bungalows with free WiFi.

The location is perfect! The beach was to us the most beautiful on the island. People are very friendly and doing their best to make your stay perfect. The rooms (small houses) are super cozy and spacious. They offer bike rental at a super good price and pick up at the pier where you arrive. They also shuttle you back at departure. Rooms are very affordable but the beach villas are quiet expensive. We got a fresh coconut upon arrival, which was very thoughtful! They are super kids friendly!

We were upgraded to a bungalow due to overbooking.... thank you. The bungalow & bathroom was clean, very spacious, fairly well equipped and had some books to read which was a nice touch. Fairly good WiFi. Reasonable air con. Well designed fly screens to prevent bugs. Bedside lighting is a nice touch. A bit of a sea view. Nice restaurant/ cafe area and loungers right on beach. We got fresh towels & water when we asked.

The very warm and friendly staff were SO welcoming, helpful and lovely. It was super clean with staff working hard daily to keep the beach, gardens and surroundings tidy and clean. The location was quiet, peaceful and relaxing. I loved the family atmosphere among the staff and really felt happy to support Ko Mak's Trash Hero community project - LOVE the care taken to reduce ecological impact on Ko Mak.

The staff and child facilities were absolutely lovely. They made everything in their power to make the stay as comfortable and fun as possible for our children and that is priceless. There was a playing ground that our 2.5 year old son loved. The swimming pool was great. If we knew how fantastic this place was, we would have stayed longer. It

The staff was very friendly and helpfull. We could free of charge use the kayaks and SUP boards. The sushi bar was great - very fresh sushi and the sushi pieces were very big! As we are travelling with a baby, we were not comfortable driving scooters, but Seavana had a gulf vart we could rent for 800 baht and drive around the whole island! That was amazing! All in all this is an amazing place! We really enjoyed our stay!

Easy walk to lots of local restaurants and right on the beach. Food and cocktails at Miss you is really good! We rented a golf cart (2 adults and 2 children) and it was a blast. Art house is great for breakfast. Koh Mak is a stunning island. Bring good quality insect repellent as there are sand flies. Dylan was amazing, super helpful and kind. The kids also loved the pool table. Thank you Dylan, we really enjoyed ourselves!

Very lovely lady greeted us at arrival and explained everything. She even arranged free taxi at our departure and offered us a free barbecue. The villa is very spatious and private, no noise at night. It is probably house where somebody actually lives (few stuff in fridge etc.) but we found it ok, it was good for family with two kids where you can have absolute privacy.

Absolutely amazing service and staff. They were both professional and personal, something that made our stay even more special. The Villas were super spacious, and the breakfast was beyond anything we have ever experienced in Thailand. The facilities exceeded our expectations when it came to being child-friendly - as the staff made an extra effort to make the kids feel welcome.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Large, beautifully designed, private rooms right on the beach. Best beach on the island, clean, picturesque with great views of smaller islands. Great restaurant, delicious food at reasonable prices. Generous and tasty breakfast. Koh Mak also fun to explore on motorbikes with the family. We had been 10 years previous and it still has the same charm. Very chilled, quiet island. Often had beaches completely to ourselves, even at the resort (we went low season). Perfect stay!
