Our family spent a week at Yak's and we loved both the whole Klong Kloi area and the bungalows. The "village" is an amazing chill out place with a lovely beach and restaurants. Yak's bungalows might be basic and you will meet all sorts of insects and lizards around but the place has a great vibe. Yak is a tremendous host, with always a smile on his face and ready to help with anything you need. We also liked the communal kitchen where we could make breakfasts and lunches.
Para Resort is located in Koh Chang, just 500 metres from White Sand Beach. Boasting tropical greenery and ocean views, it features cosy bungalows, a restaurant and free internet.

The hotel is perfect for the family vacation - they have rather big rooms, some children activities. The beach is very slow going into water, and there is no currents, so it's very safe for children. Breakfasts are really awesome - even picky child can find some food for self. We were there during a jellyfish period in Thailand, and we didn't see any single one at that corner of ocean.
Well maintained, clean property. incredibly friendly staff, family friendly setting. Comfy beds. Compact setting, the room is close to everything (pool, beach, restaurant), which is great with 2 small kids. Lots of shade from the trees. Quiet area of the island. Good happy hour at the restaurant. We will be back again for sure.

Best place we stayed at during our months long family trip through Southeast Asia. Just like the previous reviewers describe it.
The bungalows are spacious. Very comfortable. With TV's (Netflix included).
But the best thing; it's right at the river, with a short paddle to beautiful beaches.
When it's high tide you can jump in the river right from the deck. We booked for 6 nights but ended up staying one week more.
Our kids got a box with toys to play with. What can i say more.. thanks a lot!
Family friendly. The slider was a big hit with the children. Kids menu. Many restaurants nearby on the main road too. We were upgraded to a garden cabana room which was lovely. Children can feed the fish in the ponds by the rooms. Staff were wonderful.
Superb hotel to stay in, very family friendly, beautifully appointed rooms, great facilities, clean and well maintained. The pool and beach are superb and the staff are so friendly and helpful.
The restaurant food and beach BBQ were terrific. The children loved every minute of their stay. We loved the fact it was so safe for the children...always someone there watching the water ...both beach and pool.
Highly recommended....and the views and scenery were gorgeous.
