Was considering eating elsewhere, but a musician started playing and the environment was so relaxing, I stayed. Best breakfast in Thailand and Laos so far. Less than 5 mins walk to the train station.l

The owner's English is very good and quickly check in, bringing me back to the room to rest. Our host Nick went out of his way to look after us. We were heading for Laos and he gave us a ride to the border crossing (we gave him a small fee) and let us leave our car at his house until we returned. Also gave us a free breakfast which we weren't expecting. This room is a building within his own property so it is very quiet, secure and private.
