Mike’s place is a wonderful secluded fishing paradise. Not really being a fisherman, I chose it to explore the region with a car. From there it’s easy to do day trips around the whole area, including west coast, Krabi, Phang Nga Bay, Khao Sok, etc. Sure I tried fishing and we got a huge relic fish whose origins are traced back over 100 million years ago. The property itself is well maintained which is rare in Thailand. Mike the owner is very positive and welcoming. He puts a lot of heart and efforts into the place and one can feel it when staying there. Hope to be back one day.

The whole property was really nicely decorated throughout. The room was extremely spacious and very comfortable. Very fast WiFi and a smart TV too! The owner was really nice and very helpful; booking us an incredible boat tour to Koh Panyee and James Bond Island, as well as a driver to Samet Nangshe and also our onward travel! Would definitely recommend this hidden gem. (Cash only if paying on arrival)

I highly recommend to stay in this hotel. Choke and Jane are the best owners I ever met, Verry kind and helpful. They arrange everything for you and the hotel looks brand new like in the picture, aircon and shower work perfect good pressure and temperature. Also the bed is great. The room is very clean and luxery you don’t miss anything 😊 and a nice morning view on the mountain. And as special bonus they gives us a local breakfast with Thai dessert ( Aroy mak ) When we checked out we got again a home made present Over all the best experience in the south.
