Everything, the place and the hostess was amazing, always available, gave us a lot of tips to go in príncipe and was very helpful with everything that we needed. Her staff also amazing with the help, they were always ready to help and very sweet. Super nice little property in the city of Santo António. Carlos’s reception and assistance in arranging a motorcycle was amazing. Breakfast was varied every day with fresh fruit, juices, eggs, bacon was a lovely start to every morning. Carlos arranged a beautiful crab appetizer during the football match and we opted for dinner at the property twice which was delicious and filling both nights. Super grateful! obrigada por tudo!

We absolutely loved the staff Betty and Marlene. Both were so lovely, warm hearted kind and patient, always with a smile on their beautiful faces even through having to deal with two travellers who spoke no Portuguese. Thet went above and beyond making our stay comfortable, making us feel part of their family. What a special place for the person who wants to explore the natural world of Principe. Be prepared facilities are basic in the area with a local shop that provides only the very basic food stuffs and takes local cash. There is an amazing secluded beach at the bottom of a ,steep at times, jungle track that is accessible by foot only, its about 2km walking down and up around 223m of elevation. There is plenty to see on the route, including lots of parrots roosting at dusk.

Our stay is Roça Lucindo was spectacular. We really enjoyed the privilege of being in the middle of a tropical forest surrounded by nature, birds and butterflies. We were even able to spot monkeys that were having their dinner at the nearby trees! The house is well equipped and despite some electricity cuts we always had hot water. The road to the house is a little tricky- remember you are in the middle of a jungle. You need 4x4 car. Lucindo and his wife Marie are extremely welcoming and always available for questions or requests. Marie is also an excellent cook! She was preparing very tasty local dishes for us. We would definitely come back!
