We had an idyllic stay at Velika Planina! The chalet is well-made and comfortable, with a lovely sauna and fireplace. The view from every window feels like a postcard...
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Great location to explore places like Logarska Dolina, Velika Planina, Kamnik and trails. I also liked the setting, peaceful by the river, with enough things to keep kids occupied (animals, playground, pool...).
House/room was small and basic, but neat. Big bed window is a huge plus. Shared bathroom also basic, but clean.
Beautiful scenery with close access to many activities. Feeding the animals in the morning was great fun for our kids. The beds were very comfortable and the cabins well-equipped.

The location is perfect to visit Velika Planina. For families with kids, the playground is great. There is a small bar and fitness centre. The kitchen has everything we needed. Free parking in front of the flat. Big bathtub. Overall the apartment is very spacious. Friendly hosts spoke perfect English.
This chalet is in an excellent peaceful position on the brow of a wooded hill. We enjoyed sunset and sunrise, as well as a sweeping view into the valley. The kitchen is well equipped and the wood stove was great fun to use, fast for cooking and heating for the cabin too. Also the side entrance room and bathroom had underfloor heating, which was a lovely surprise and a great benefit. There were some board games available too, which my children enjoyed. We would visit again
