As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Everything was just perfect! The location of the house is excelent! Views are amazing!! Place itself has lots of entertainment for adults and children as well. Food in the restaurant was excellent, Misa and Rock were very friendly and super nice. I am sure we will be back next year again.

We stayed in the small cottage close to the main building (2 adults and 3 kids). The cottage is little bit smaller but cozy and it has everything you need. The house lady is really very nice and you can have dinner and breakfast in the restaurant in the main building - all the food was great. It is very close to the cable car to Velika Planina, which was our main reason why we have chosen this place. And we had a great stay.
The surrounding is amazing, you can see mountains just in front of you and breath clean air. The funicular railway to Velika Planina is just at two minutes from this beautiful location.
The owner and the staff are very beautiful and warm people, we spent beautiful time talking with them.
You can taste very typical and super good food and enjoying the great sauna just in front of the mountains.
A great place if you plan to visit the Great Planina, and surprisingly well equipped for kids place to have dinner, with lots of games around in the yard around the dining area
Views are spectacular, food amazing and there is plenty to do for children if you are having a family trip. It is mountain lodge type of place and it is quite remote which for us was a blessing.
It is a great location in the middle of nowhere. Very calming place under Velika Planina. Picturesque view on mountains and a bit magic and incredible walls. The nice host Miša who creates family feeling.
Cool place! The dining area under the trees is great (if the weather is good), the different games and activities around the 'camp' are fun for small and big children. Shared bathrooms and private bedroom were very clean.
Location just a few minutes' walk from bus stop and from cable car to Velika Planina is perfect for people travelling by public transport.
We booked 2 rooms at Kraljev Hrib for the night before heading out on a big backpacking trip with 3 adults and 4 children/teens. We can't say enough great things about this place -- absolutely lovely hosts, super fun and expansive outdoor spaces, and just a great, playful vibe overall. We wish we could have stayed longer as both the adults and kids loved it. Highly recommended if you are looking for a casual, affordable option near the Kamnik-Savinje Alps trails. We can't thank the hosts enough for their hospitality!
