Coco de Mer Hotel and Black Parrot Suites, hotel in Grand'Anse Praslin

Situated along a private beach area in Anse Bois de Rose, Coco de Mer Hotel and Black Parrot Suites offers a swimming pool, two restaurants and spa. It is nestled in 200 acres of tropical gardens.

We visited Praslin to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary, and our stay at Coco de Mer and Black Parrot Suites made it truly unforgettable. The staff went above and beyond to make our celebration special, surprising us with a beautifully crafted cake and a heartfelt, handmade card. It’s these personal touches that made our trip so memorable—thank you to the entire team! What truly sets this hotel apart is its outstanding staff. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Ahmed, who greeted us with a refreshing welcome drink and thoroughly explained the many complimentary activities available during our stay. His attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. I highly recommend opting for the half-board option during your stay. First, the food is absolutely incredible—delicious, varied, and full of local flavors. Second, the hotel is somewhat secluded, and navigating Praslin in the evening can be a bit challenging due to the narrow, unlit roads. Having dinner at the hotel is not only convenient but also a culinary delight. One pleasant surprise was that the drink prices at the hotel were quite reasonable compared to other places in the Seychelles, and the variety of beverages was impressive. Special thanks to Ajay, who took care of us at every meal. His friendly conversations, helpful suggestions about the island, and thoughtful attention to our preferences made each dining experience a pleasure. I also want to acknowledge the rest of the dinner staff, who were equally welcoming, although I regret not remembering all their names. Anura and Nirakar at the Mango Bar also deserve a mention for their attentiveness during our visits. A unique highlight of our stay was feeding an eel in the hotel’s natural stream—a truly amazing experience made possible by Raien, one of the chefs, who kindly guided us through this.

It was a quiet lovely plantation-style hotel with old world charm, on a quiet stretch of beach with beautiful palm tree and sunset views. The location is only 10 min from the airport which was very convenient as we had to catch a 6am flight. Jabed was very helpful on check-in and went out of his way to assist us, even up-grading us to a bigger room for no extra charge and packing us a breakfast for our early flight.

Hotel Le Duc de Praslin, hotel in Grand'Anse Praslin

Just a 2-minute walk from the white and sandy beach of Cote D'or, Hotel Le Duc de Praslin offers a tropical garden, a spa therapy pool and 2 restaurants.

Our recent stay at Hotel Le Dec de Praslin was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were met with warmth and professionalism from the management and staff, setting the tone for a luxurious experience. The oceanfront rooms were beautifully designed, spotless, and offered breathtaking views that made waking up each morning a dream. The dining experience was another highlight. The food was simply incredible, with a wide variety of options that catered to every taste. What stood out the most were the dinner buffets, which were never repetitive. Each night brought something new and exciting, showcasing the best of local and international cuisine. The staff’s politeness and attentiveness were remarkable. They were always on hand to assist with anything we needed, ensuring our comfort throughout the stay. A special mention goes to the hotel management, who were incredibly professional and engaged. The owner himself made it a point to speak with us during dinner almost every evening, adding a personal touch that made our stay feel even more special. What truly stood out, beyond the luxury, was the hotel’s commitment to sustainability. It was impressive to see how management prioritized eco-friendly practices both within the hotel and in the surrounding areas. They actively contribute to environmental efforts, including the clean-up of a local hiking trail on Praslin. This level of care and responsibility towards the island’s natural beauty made our stay not only luxurious but meaningful. We highly recommend Hotel Le Dec de Praslin to anyone looking for a blend of luxury, excellent service, incredible food, and eco-conscious hospitality.
