Our recent stay at Hotel Le Dec de Praslin was nothing short of exceptional. The dining experience was another highlight. The food was simply incredible, with a wide variety of options that catered to every taste. What stood out the most were the dinner buffets, which were never repetitive. Each night brought something new and exciting, showcasing the best of local and international cuisine.
The staff’s politeness and attentiveness were remarkable. They were always on hand to assist with anything we needed, ensuring our comfort throughout the stay. A special mention goes to the hotel management, who were incredibly professional and engaged. The owner himself made it a point to speak with us during dinner almost every evening, adding a personal touch that made our stay feel even more special.
What truly stood out, beyond the luxury, was the hotel’s commitment to sustainability. It was impressive to see how management prioritized eco-friendly practices both within the hotel and in the surrounding areas. They actively contribute to environmental efforts, including the clean-up of a local hiking trail on Praslin. So this place consists of four villas and each containing two apartments (ground floor and upper floor). As a family we occupied one villa. And then you can open a connecting door and have a shared house. Which is really nice. The garden is beautiful, you have direct beach access and you get breakfast in your room. Staff is very attentive, you can also get your laundry done, We really liked it there. It is nicer than in the pictures. And you can walk via the beach to a beach bar in direction of airport which serves EXCELLENT cocktails.
Not sure how it is when sharing the villa, I think you can hear noise from upstairs. But our son is really quiet, so I can only say that moving chairs are audible.

They do creol nights at Wednesdays and Saturdays with live music and local food, which is a great fun.

The villa was very huge and comfortable, clean - same as on the pictures, good quality for the price.
The host and his family is really nice - early checkin was allowed us after letting the host know in advance, which was a huge plus for relaxed and safe first day on Praslin. We also got a detailed guidiance and tips about Praslin when we arrived which was amazing. The morning view to the sea was amazing.
The best place to stay in Praslin! The perfect view, the friendlyness and the apartment itself were absolutely perfect! In addition, the breakfast room and the breakfast were excellent. And the helpful recommendations from them made our holiday perfect.
And yes, the location is uphill with a quite steep road/way. But this is necessary for the amazing view and well described everywhere. 😎
This hotel is one of my favorite hotels so far. The room is so beautifully equipped with a lovely balcony, great shower, much space. The stuff is so so lovely and kind, the food is delicious! Surroundings beautifully managed and a nice pool.

The equipment of the accommodation is very nice! However, the pictures provided are a bit older. Communication with the family, who lives directly below the apartment, was also good.
My family and I were very satisfied, the accommodation was comfortable, although the equipment was older, but it was enough. every day there was a clean-up. Leslie and Ashly were always willing to help and advise. The accommodation is really on a hill, but it didn't bother us, every day we climbed the hill easily and were greeted by the dogs. That was nice. I enjoyed my vacation and rested, everything was fine, I can recommend it. Thank you

My family had a great time at Villa Face Mer. The apartment was big, well equipped and clean. The beach in front of the apartment is calm and peaceful. The place is perfect to have a peaceful time, but if you want to go to restaurants, supermarkets at night, it is necessary to have a car.
