We have returned here after two years as we really like the hospitality of the owners. Lovely atmosphere, friendly service, great home made food, peaceful and calm. Great for families as well.
Fantastic home made food. The family and staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Wonderfully quiet rural location. Bicycles available for short ride to the local nature reserve, where there is fantastic bird life. The owner is quite a character who goes out of his way to encourage you to take a crafty sip of rakija any time from dawn to dusk. Take a moment to visit their cattle, sheep and chickens. Highly recommended. Just an hour or so from the international airport and so great spot to start or end a trip.
Great family run place with wonderful hosts. They made us feel like at home as soon as we arrived and all through our stay, great food as well. So peaceful and close to many interesting spots if you enjoy nature. Highly recommended!
Fantastic country side property, the owners welcomed us with homemade delicious bread at our arrival.We felt very much welcomed as like at home. We enjoyed staying in the nice green garden. The whole place is very quiet, clean and comfortable. The owners cocked for us a fantastic dinner. The property is managed by a family, very kind and friendly people. The place is so lovely, and the hosts are amazing. You can feel their great hospitality as soon as you enter the property. Would absolutely recommend to everyone! If you are looking for a few days in a lovely quiet place don't miss Zasavica. There is an amazing natural reserve near by, absolutely perfect for anyone including kids. The location is wonderful. It's a nature reserve with various animals and lovely cats and dogs. The place is most suitable for families with children.
The reception is until 7 pm. I suggest contacting the place after reserving, ad I did, and they will give you the phone number of one of the staff, which will make the check in procedure a lot easier.
Everything was amazing! The place is cozy and beautiful - everything in it was done with taste and care. Our room was quite comfortable and authentic, it had all we needed. The food was great - both breakfast and dinner - with a lot of homemade traditional things. The hosts are such a caring and generous family - we felt like home with them. The host Zika even offered to drive us to Sremska Mitrovica when we were going back. And the environment in general is perfect for sleeping and resting. We would like to go back! :)
The staff was like my parents - kind and listening, very helpful and heard all my requests and solved my queries.
The simple and calm life in village, with full of nature around, free animals like cat, chicken and cows outside - reminded me my childhood. The cock's kukroooo awake me up and I prayed accordingly, loved it.
Evening dinner was separate but they prepared upon request, garden is perfect for relaxation. They charged my car at no additional cost.
Excellent host, family, ambient, rakija. Rebuild farm with history and a story. Breakfast was overwhelming. Ambient is fantastic. Simply very nice, we will return.
