Everything was clean, welcoming and great. The staff saved my life by letting me borrow a flat iron for my dress that was all wrinkled and I had a wedding the next day. I really advise this hotel you won’t regret it.

Our first stop in the Douro Valley, and one that was hard to beat. Carla gave us a warm welcome and looked after us very well throughout our stay. Our room was clean, comfy and had a lovely view from the balcony. Complimentary port in the room went down well! The grounds are lovely and we were given the freedom to explore. Both pools were clean and shared the views of the valley and surrounding area. We enjoyed delicious meal and wines produced on the quinta in the evening. Breakfast was also excellent. We hope to return and bring our family.

We were made so welcome by Manuel as soon as we arrived. It’s a beautiful, traditional family home The breakfast was delicious and the service very friendly. The attention to detail was exceptional, the gardens are beautiful, we loved the honesty bar by the pool and the welcome drink. The location was ideal for exploring the stunning Douro valley.

Huge and fantastic house in the center of the city. The house is just amazing, with 4 big and confortable rooms, a huge living room and meals room, a small tv room and a big kitchen. The 2 bathroons are very very good. The views are very nice, the house is quiet and very near the center of the city. Keep in mind that the house is in the higher part of town, so when returning from the river side you will need to walk uphill... but it is not that much and it is well worth it. Its a fantastic house.
