The best place to stay, especially if travel by car. Highly recommend, if could be possible to rate more than 10, I will rate 20!!! Small cosy house decorating with great taste, fantastically equipped kitchen, bathroom, small inner garden with marvelous orange tree. Unforgettable property and host, providing total comfort. Very next to small local Ginja factory and ocean.

The location, between the vinyards and the plants they have there. There is alot of space outside of the room for the kids to play and swim. Very nice pool. The staff are very nice. The breakfast is good, not alot of variety but good.

Beautiful B&B located 10 minutes by car from Obidos in quaint, charming, and quiet village with views overlooking the lagoon from rooftop terrace. Architecture/interior design/landscaping lovely - has a "boutique" lodging kind of feel. Hosts gracious, friendly, and helpful with restaurant recommendations and free parking location in Obidos and lagoon beach. Double bed very comfortable. Breakfast included the most delicious oranges I ever ate from trees right on property! Easy, free parking right outside on street. Highly recommend, would stay again.

The place is gorgeous and the facilities are great. It is so well equipped with everything we need - even paper towels, pegs, a whole new bottle of olive oil, pots and pans, and many more. Lots of privacy and location are perfect. The configuration of the place is excellent - with 2 ensuite and 3 bathrooms! The host was extremely responsive and accommodating.

I would like to thank Jeva and all Cavalo de Madeira staff for making this place unique and exceptional! The property is perfectly designed, artistic, cosy and minimalistic. The high ceilings, indoor plants, spacious common area.. There is a biological swimming pool- (they do not use any harmful chemicals) If you would like to – there is a BBQ place in the garden! We stayed at the studio, it was more than enough for myself and my husband. If you have kids, there are beds for kids on the upstairs of the studio. Very clean and perfectly designed place. There is also a very big and peaceful balcony in the studio which we enjoyed a lot. (If you stay in the main building, there is a common kitchen which is also fully equipped, where you can cook together with other guests and enjoy gathering together) Couple of things that I would like to mention: - It was so far the most well equipped and clean kitchen that I have ever seen throughout my travels. We stayed for 2 nights but if we would stay longer, we could cook almost anything in that kitchen comfortably. Bathroom and towels were very clean as well. -Jeva herself welcomed us when we checked in, unlike other places where they immediately do check in and all the administrative stuff, she welcomed us from the parking area, showed us around, explained what the property offer’s during our stay, where to visit, restaurant lists and so on, which was really nice! -I believe that, in the service and hospitality business; the most lacking part is providing food for the guests with allergies & intolerances.(due to lack of knowledge) Jeva has the knowledge to navigate the guests who has special needs due to their intolerances or allergies. As someone who has food intolerances, I cannot tell you how important and relieving to have someone who can understand you! All team was informed about my personal food intolerances as a guest, and guided me with the breakfast selections. Thank you!
