Gorgeous Quinta in Duoro Valley which is close to the Sandeman Port estate which served an impeccable lunch. The Quintas snacks were also very delicious, as was their breakfast and dinner. Dinner and breakfast are served on a communal table. Pool was also very beautiful and rooms were tastefully designed. The free tour of the cellar door was also good.

Location and views are stunning. Staff were lovely and helpful. The food and wine were excellent. Room was really comfortable and lovely to have seating right outside. In fact there are seating areas everywhere. The pool was beautiful.

The setting speaks for itself and that was the initial attraction. But it was pure pleasure to be a guest in this home that has been in the same family since the seventeenth century and is run impeccably and professionally by the owner and a wonderful team. Can’t speak highly enough of it.

This is a very beautiful small and family hotel. The stuff and especially Angela was so nice and so helpful we just fell in love.
She was absolutely amazing and helped us a lot in making reservations for restaurants and tours.
The food was also very good and the rooms are very well maintained.

The place is absolutely wonderful and I wish we had stayed longer than just one night to enjoy better que quietness in the pool. We had a small wine tasting and we were very well received for the amazing staff, all very kind. The views are to die for, the wine is delicious and it was the best breakfast in our whole trip by far. They totally got my heart.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Portuguese bliss- traditional, comfortable, stunning views, amazing hospitality too. Couldn’t thank Miguel and his family enough. We wish them well and can’t wait to return again soon.

Service was great, lovely extended family hosts who worked hard to ensure all guests were catered for, food and wine was plentiful, nothing too much trouble.
Our room was at the top of the house and like stepping back in time but was spacious with a second bedroom and living area with chairs and tv, plus great view across the river to Pinhao.
Location was up high so we were happy we took a taxi as roads were tight, and it also resulted in some fantastic photographs of the lighting that lit up the night sky.
What a special place to stay. It was a highlight of my trip. Miguel is the perfect host. It's particularly good if you're a solo traveller like I was (on my motorbike) as all the guests have dinner together at one big table along with wines from the winery. I met some lovely people and had a lot of fun, I'd highly recommend!

Everything!! Miguel and his mother Maria were excellent hosts who couldn’t do enough to make our stay wonderful. The rooms are in the old family home and are very spacious and comfortable. We chose to have dinner both nights and it was so tasty & plentiful, as was their own port & wine. The view from the property down to the river were lovely. We’ll definitely stay again if we ever return to that area. Excellent value for money.
The family managing the property is super welcoming and kind. We had some issues with heating in our first night. They helped us moving to a much bigger and well heated room. The location is very closed to pinhao where you can visit 3-4 wineries, they are walking distance to each other once you drive from hotel to pinhao’s center.
We loved the location, views and accommodations. The family style seating was fun and the authentic Portuguese dinner was delicious. Breakfast was delicious too!
