The location was great with a great view over the Douro valley. Hanging around the pool was a nice reprieve during our trip. The owners and their daughter were very friendly. They offered to give us a tour of the winery and gave us a bottle of wine of their wine to enjoy.

Casa da Azenha is very special place where to enjoy surrounded nature, beautiful property garden with lemon, lime, orange and humus trees and touch of history of the owners family. Its like to stay in the castle or museum where each interior detail has history and story. And the host Maria was so helpful with everything. She booked restaurants for us and give as a plan for rainy day. Would like to come back in some sunny time when we could spend some time at the pool as well.

We loved our stay at this home. It's a lovely house with all the amenities necessary for a stay. Our host was amazing as well - we had a flat tyre and I had messaged the host, he got his brother-in-law to come and take us to the tyre shop. Kids were happy and occupied with the internet tv and PS2 game box. Lovely views around the area too!
