The property was what made as go to the town of Santa Comba Dão and we felt most comfortable in it and enjoyed the experience greatly. The location could not be better, right at the old center, near a very nice plaza with the small river that crosses the town running nearby and at a short distance from the best places to visit; the building itself is beautiful outside and inside and masterfully renovated and decorated; the old center was a grateful surprise: it is all up and down with lots of stairs and narrow alleys, many beautiful buildings and a lot of renovation going on; the people we met at the street, the museum, the tourism office were all very proud of Santa Comba Dão and willing to help and explain and make suggestions; the views of the Dão river from the viewpoint of Outeirinho, are delightful and the walk or bike ride on the "Ecopista do Dão" is not to be missed; last but not least, not to be missed in the town is the restaurant "Cova Funda", not only their food is home made and delicious but the owners are so welcoming that you feel at home from the start

Fantastic holiday home on the bank of river, very peaceful and relaxing. House id very clean and spacious, has 2 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, nice terrace with beautiful river view, kids pool, lovely garden and green loan to play on. Absolutely no neighbours around, very private and quiet stay. River is full of fish. Host is just amazing - very friendly and welcoming, always replied very fast and came to check out us personally and brought gifts for everyone. WE really enjoyed of our stay and will be recommend to friends and use again.
