We had a fantastic 2 days! We stayed in the swimmingpool house: 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen/dining/livingroom. It was a clean and spacious apartment. Breakfast and dinner was served in the apartment which was great with our 2 small kids. Fernanda is such a lovely, warm hearted woman and she made us feel right at home. Her cooking is also superb. The grounds are spacious and there is a lot of entertainment possible for kids: pool, tennis, volleyball, basketball, pingpong. And the views are beautiful as well. It is a quiet area so you can really relax. Our kids (3yo and 1yo) felt very welcome and we had everything we needed for them as well. Best place we have stayed at in a long time and we wished we could have stayed longer.

This was one of the finest places we’ve ever been! The staff is fantastic, the location is literally perfect! The food was wonderful. Only complaint was the beds were a little too firm for our tastes. Also for light sleepers the train coming through a couple times a night might be a problem. But all the other wonderful factors more than made up for any comfort with the beds or sound at night. We had one of the greatest time of our lives there. We absolutely recommend!!!

The care and kindness with which the staff took care of us 🍀 You really feel they are there to make your trip a special one! From the suggestions, the welcome gift (some foody treats), making sure they the room was warm enough for us at all times and just being kind, happy and welcoming, this was really the high point of the stay! Nevertheless, everything else is also top notch! We had one of the best breakfasts ever! The beautiful surrounding of this particular “little village” that we luckily had all for ourselves (we were the only guests). The house were we stayed was fully equipped and super comfortable! We are definitely coming back in the summer 🌞

We had a fabulous time - the house and it's facilities are excellent. It was an added bonus that there is now a dishwasher, which wasn't in the listing when I booked. Very useful for 4 of us! The pool was wonderful for warm afternoons and the view is breath-taking. Rafael, Marta and Antonio were genuinely kind - picking us up from the station, showing us the bees and taking us canoeing - nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much.

The room was AMAZING!, They thought of every detail! Everything was super clean!. The food is organic and delicious. The spa was amazing and was included everything. They make the wine there and it is the best wine I have ever had. The place is beautiful!. You can walk around and see the animals they have. The animals are super friendly. We will definitely come back we enjoyed every minute. And the location is very good, you have really good restaurants near by.

Great view over Douro Valley and the river. The house is very spacious and very well equipped.  We loved the pool and cosy corner in the garden.
